I found this rug in the brown color at my local Target. I have a sliding door approx 6' wide and this 7' rug works perfectly. It's soft under foot and just dark enough to conceal dirt. I love this rug so much that I'm ordering another in the same color for another door in my house. If in the market for a long narrow runner I would highly recommend. I agree with the previous reviewer...this rug is much more attractive in person! I saw this area rug at the store and fell in love with it. I was at Target picking up other smaller items for my new apartment but couldn't justify spending the money on this rug when I didn't NEED it. Well, I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I went back to the store a few days later and bought the smallest and more affordable size for my kitchen. I am so happy with my purchase! The colors are so rich which really adds a lot to the space. I have only owned it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on how well it wears yet, but it's in a high traffic spot and will be a true test of its durability. I am confident it will last a while as it truly seems to be a well made product. In fact, the reason I am back checking it out again is to see what other sizes this rug comes in. I am debating buying another small one if it comes in the size I'm looking for. see less

if i hadn't seen this rug at the store first, i never would have been so attracted to it. the online picture doesn't do this rug justice. the colors are so great.....so many in it and such deep, rich colors, it would be easy to change the color scheme of the room anytime and have the rug still have a place. one thing that i really like is the fact that it's NOT wool. we've had both polyester and wool rugs in our home. the wool rugs tend to shed wool fibers so the hardwood always looks dusty. our very inexpensive polyester rug lived under our kitchen table for years and withstood much abuse from our toddlers and canines. the polyester fibers don't "hold" liquid, where as wool absorbs it. if that could be an issue for you in your home, i would choose any polyester rug over wool. this rug is lovely. don't know how it will wear, but i'm sold. see less

I bought this rug in white. I like that it doesn't slide around thanks to rubber underside, like a bathmat. The pile has held up well and hasn't gotten mushed down yet from being walked on. It vacuums easily and still looks good despite being in a high foot traffic area. My 15 month old twins will stop and lay down on it randomly because they love its fluffy softness, the dog prefers it to her own bed too. I like it so much I am buying another one! see less

I bought this rug in store and almost returned it after reading the previous review but loved the design so much I decided to try it out for myself. I'm soooo glad I did because I absolutely couldn't be happier with it! The picture online doesn't do this rug justice as it is stunning in person. The colors are rich blues and greens on a neutral background. It totally transformed my neutral living room and gives it a very calming and relaxed feel. I love how thick and high quality the rug is compared to others I've had before. I was nervous about possible stains with it being partially wool and having kids/pets but it cleans fine. I've had orange juice and grape juice spilled on it and both came out. Just blot and use a a little vinegar/water. I was also leery of the material being itchy for my kids to play on but its fine, they love it too! As far as pills needing to be shaved off I have not had that problem either. I have a Dyson & use the higher setting. see less

I loved the color and feel of this rug in the store! I brought it home and put it in front of the sink and within 5 minutes, my husband and I both tripped on it. The sides don't taper down, so the whole rug sticks up about a half inch. I loved how it felt so soft and cushy, so I thought that I could just learn to be more careful around it. An hour later, I was cutting some veggies on the counter and turned to cross over towards the sink and tripped again big time, falling towards the sink with a cutting board and chef's knife in my hands. With a busy kitchen, including a husband that likes to play tag with a 5 year old, running through kitchen in the process, it's just not worth taking a chance on someone getting hurt. I have the larger one and I looks great in my girls play room! The rubber backing helps it grip to hardwood. It has gotten dirty and all I do is put it in the commercial washer at the laundromat & it comes out like new again!!!!!! The backing doesn't crack or peel like the cheap rugs you find at discount stores. It has a full pile yet you can still vacuum sand, dirt, food and anything else kids drop. I also like the zebra print . Some rugs have an awkward looking print, however this one looks great exceeds my expectations in this price range! see less

Overall I am pleased with this area rug. It adds interest to our living room without being too 'loud'. The pattern/colors are more muted than appear in the online photo, also the background has some teal woven in which mostly shows up in bright light. It feels soft to the touch and an added bonus is that it is manufactured in the USA. We will switch out this rug in probably two or three years and expect it hold up during its use. see less

Was looking for a rug to place in the space where I meditate, read, and spend quiet time. This is the perfect soft color and style to complement the neutral furnishings and paint in the room. It is soft and a very low pile rug. It appears well constructed. I will have it in a low traffic area, so I expect years of wear. I do recommend adding a cushioned rug grip underneath, especially if you are placing on hard wood floors as I did. The rug does not have much cushion. For under a hundred dollars, I could not have found a better deal for my space. As others have mentioned, there is some gradation - lines in a lighter color - running through the background. I quite like this as it add some dimension to the rug. The blooms are a rusty brown, quite pleasing as a contrast. I'm very happy with the rug. see less

I suppose it would have been nice to just be able to sweep this off every night as I sweep the kitchen. Seems durable enough also. But this mat has a serious flaw. It's way too thick! Tripping hazard for my 2 year old...wait for me too! And don't forget the Mr who also tripped on it. Seems more like it gets in the way when you're trying to work in a pretty important area. We purchased this rug for our living room, to go under our coffee table. Our little one eats and plays there, so the carpet was looking pretty sad but this rug is the perfect size and it seems far more durable than the carpet! We've already cleaned up chocolate milk and juice and you can't tell anything ever happened! It is very scrubbable! We have the blue rug and it is a richer blue than the online picture- it also seems to have several different hues of blue, if you look closely and that gives the rug alot of texture and makes it look more expensive! These rugs look fabulous against the wood floors, warm cherry cabinets and earthtones in my kitchen, along with the stainless steel appliances. The background color of this rug is grey which I normally would not love, BUT, the mix of the browns, hints of reds along with the oatmeal and taupe accents just makes it all work. But I've vacuumed it almost every other day and it's softer and seems to be shedding less. I purchased this rug in 8X10 for our living room. The rug itself is low pile and quite thin, but the yarn is nice and soft. I realize that color settings differ on each computer, but one thing that stood out for me is when the rug arrived, the background tan color was darker than I had expected it to be. Also, the blue is more of a teal blue and the red is a very rich cherry red.This rug is great to add a splash of color to your room and is quite inexpensive in comparison to other rugs the same size. With olive green, orange, teal blue and red, you have plenty of accent colors to choose from.Unlike the other reviewer, ours did not have a strong smell and did not need to be aired out! see less

I bought this rug in blue for my daughter's nursery. I was very excited when it finally arrived but was shocked by the colors in it. Theres a very very light blue color in it and white and a very vibrant blue which makes it look like it doesnt blend as well as it does in the picture. I also thought it would be more of a soft shag.
