I must admit, I was skeptical about this purchase at first thinking, "How could a rug that cheap be any good??" Oh, it's good. In fact, I'd buy another if I had a place to put it. They are FANTASTIC Had them for about 6 months now. 2 kids, 2 dogs and they are gleaming white because you can just throw them in the wash!! I have replaced all the other rugs in the house with different variations of this. They are the best money I have spent and I do not have to pay extra to steam clean them or replace every year. I bought this rug in white. I like that it doesn't slide around thanks to rubber underside, like a bathmat. The pile has held up well and hasn't gotten mushed down yet from being walked on. It vacuums easily and still looks good despite being in a high foot traffic area. My 15 month old twins will stop and lay down on it randomly because they love its fluffy softness, the dog prefers it to her own bed too. I like it so much I am buying another one! see less

I'm still trying to get the area run to lay flat, but it's coming...will have to put a pad under it. would have been nice if they made the underside of the 7x10 like the underside of the runner. We purchased this rug for our living room, to go under our coffee table. Our little one eats and plays there, so the carpet was looking pretty sad but this rug is the perfect size and it seems far more durable than the carpet! We've already cleaned up chocolate milk and juice and you can't tell anything ever happened! It is very scrubbable! We have the blue rug and it is a richer blue than the online picture- it also seems to have several different hues of blue, if you look closely and that gives the rug alot of texture and makes it look more expensive! Definately a good buy! We've had the rug about a month now and it looks as good as it did when we bought it! see less

I got this rug to go in our office/playroom. My intention was for my kids to play on it. I love the look, the price, the style. Unfortunately, it is scratchy. My 2 year old won't walk on it barefoot, and every time he presses his hand down he winces and rubs his hands together. Label says wool and cotton. It's not just scratchy wool - there are prickly fibers in there and what looks like debris blended into the fibers. It definitely won't be acceptable for my new baby who will be crawling at some point! Disappointed that I have to take it back. This rug is a great deal otherwise. see less

We were super weary about getting this rug because of the poor online reviews. There must have been some bad batches because we have had zero problems with shedding after several months of use. Even with a rambunctious 6 year old and a horse sized dog, it has held up beautifully without any problems. Great value and looks awesome! see less

I bought this rug in the store in beige 5 x7 and I love it. I have owned it for 2 months and have had no problems with shedding. It vacuums very nicely and looks very expensive. Having 4 children it gets a beating and still looks great. I am thinking of getting the larger size for my family room. We are not ready for new carpet yet in the house and this area rug looks very nice and is a great temporary cover up. The neutral color blends in nicely. see less

Was looking for a rug to place in the space where I meditate, read, and spend quiet time. This is the perfect soft color and style to complement the neutral furnishings and paint in the room. It is soft and a very low pile rug. It appears well constructed. I will have it in a low traffic area, so I expect years of wear. I do recommend adding a cushioned rug grip underneath, especially if you are placing on hard wood floors as I did. The rug does not have much cushion. For under a hundred dollars, I could not have found a better deal for my space. As others have mentioned, there is some gradation - lines in a lighter color - running through the background. I quite like this as it add some dimension to the rug. The blooms are a rusty brown, quite pleasing as a contrast. I'm very happy with the rug. see less

I needed something to warm up the floors in my lower-level office space, and this is the rug I settled on. Having never laid eyes on it I was nervous because the price was a little stiff for my budget in the size I needed. I am happy to say that this rug has exceeded my expectations for comfort, beauty, and practicality. I've had it for three months now, and I can't imagine my office space without it. It feels heavenly underfoot, and the look is luxurious without being pretentious. The only complaint I have is that it does "shed" a good deal, but regular vacuuming controls that to an extent, and it's something I'm willing to put up with given its positive attributes. I do wish that it was made in a wider variety of colors - if it was, I could see myself grabbing one for my dining room or family room as well. see less

I read the two reviews and decided to try this rug because it is visually great. It HAS to be vacuumed every single day if you even step on it because the black yarn transfers to the white, making little ugly grey yarn rolls. Way too much money for such poor quality. Bottom line, if you plan on never stepping foot on this rug, buy it. I have mine under a dining room table, nearly fully covered and not walked on and it still looks like a nightmare. Target! I needed a mat that would be thin enough to fit under my back door. This fits the bill nicely. It's thin enough that opening the door never becomes a problem. I already have a mat on the outside and it tends to catch a lot of stuff that otherwise my three dogs would've brought inside. I hope that the indoor mat helps to catch the extra debris. We loved this rug when we received it. It was very soft, cushy and beautiful. The colors were great and just how they were shown on the website. After a couple of weeks, the loops started to pull up and there was a layer of 'fuzz' on the top of the rug. Looked horrible and like we needed to give it a haircut. The rug constantly looked dirty so we had to continuously vaccuum it - the colors looked like they were running together. This rug was such a waste of money and the quality was extremly poor for the price we paid. Luckily, Target customer service is great and we were able to return it for being defective. see less

This mat is loved by all who visit my home, it is so cute! Only drawback is that it claims to be an "all-weather design" and I was expecting it to be sturdier for outdoors. It is not too bad for me because it rarely rains in San Diego, but if you live in a place with a lot of rain it would need to be kept inside or it would be destroyed quickly. Even with this drawback it is one of the best doormats I have seen in a while! see less

I bought this product with high hopes but it only worked about two weeks and then started sliding together making a large ripple at one end. Even when I straightened out the rug on top the gripper stayed rippled. It eventually created a crease in the rug. I even tried washing the rug gripper by hand (per instructions) but that didn't help. I tried ironing the gripper as a last resort but no go. I am fed up with it. see less

I bought 6 of these rugs (different sizes) 4 or 5 years ago, it's a great rug for the porch and high traffic areas, such as my kitchen. It's not a soft rug, but it is very durable and heavier than those soft rugs. Rugs with rubber backing must be replaced at least once a year, but this rug is still holding up because it's not rubber. My rugs have faded a little over the years, but they still look OK. I will replace them soon with these, great price & last forever. see less

This is a nice rug for the price. I have it in my kitchen as a "wipe your feet" rug as you come in the door. It was sliding a bit on the ceramic tile floor but Target has really cheap rug liners in stores, making it a very easy fix. I really like the color. It is a nice deep brown and looks good on the white tiles. The rug has kind of a stiff/coarse feel to it but looks thick and plush. It's not rough on bare feet but it isn't the softest rug either. I gave it three stars because I don't think it will last. You definitely should not vacuum it. I shake it out to clean it and lots of dust/dirt comes out. Around the edges though, pieces of the rug have already come out. It's just my husband, me, and our dog, so there isn't a lot of traffic in and out of our apartment. We're the only ones wiping our shoes on the rug (in the middle of it usually), so it's disappointing that the edges are falling apart. I was also very annoyed with the shipping. This wasn't in stock at our local store and we really needed it since we're coming up on wet and muddy spring weather, so I ordered it with a few other items. It shipped separately and I was charged more for shipping the rug than it actually cost, but that wasn't reflected until I received the notifications that my items were not shipping together. Next time I'll wait until it's back in stock in the store. see less

I was surprised how thick this rug is. Since it's a high pile rug, more than half an inch, it was soft and very comfortable to step on. The square ivory patterns are much more prominent and bigger than how it looks from the photo. I see more of the ivory than the tan color. The only thing I hated about this rug is how much it SHEDS. It'll take some time until I can vacuum all the fibers out. Overall, the quality of this rug is superb and worth the price. see less
