I have a pillow top mattress and I recently ordered a 3" foam topper for it. I needed to replace my fitted sheets because they weren't deep enough. [...] Target was the only place i could buy JUST the fitted sheet, not an entire set. These sheets are super deep and fit my mattress plus topper with room to spare. The strong elastic the entire way around pulls the sheet firmly UNDER my mattress. So, there is NO WAY this sheet could work it's way up the sides of the mattress. Only bad things is that I didn't get more of them. see less

I'm not sure about these other reviews that are giving such poor remarks about these sheets. I think they are awesome and only get better after each washing! My fiance and I wanted to get some nice sheets for our bed but didn't want to go crazy with an expensive set as we planned to register for nicer sheets for our wedding. Loved the color, we got a slate type of blue, and felt soft in the store so gave them a shot. We LOVE them! They are soft yet sturdy feeling, but aren't so heavy that they are hot. They wash very well and fit our bed wonderfully even with a 3-4 inch memory foam topper. After months of loving these sheets, I want to get another set in another color. We also plan to register for these because we like them so much. see less

I was looking for a good sheet set and found these at Target [$] last fall. I bought the buttery yellow and not sure of what to expect brought them home, washed them, placed on bed and found heaven. These sheets are wonderful, fit the bed perfectly and I have a mattress plus a memory foam mattress of eight inches on top of that, ending with about 18 inches of mattress and the bottom sheet fit perfectly. No wrinkles anywhere and the softness is a satiny soft as someone else noted. I have had sheets for six months now and will buy more. They do get softer after each washing. My skin is very sensitive so i was quite surprised at the smoothness and no itch or rough whatsoever. see less

My husband and I purchased the Dark Gray & the Xavier Navy sheet sets after looking online for a good deal on a single California King sheet set. We found that most places were charging over [$] if you wanted a semi-decent thread count. We landed on these sheets from Target and decided to [get] 2 sets after reviewing the item details and customer reviews. When they arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how soft they were. They came nicely packaged in a cloth storage bag -- felt very high end. We pulled them out and washed them right away and put the first set on the bed. They felt great and the extra deep fitted sheet fits our very tall mattress perfectly. This line has several colors to choose from. The extra deep pockets are especially nice for the larger mattresses so you don't have to fidget with pulling the sheet down every time you crawl out of bed. So far we love them! We have not had any "balling up" on the fabric, no color fading, they stay on the mattress and wash up beautifully without wrinkles. We feel like we scored -- Big Time -- with these sheets. Two sets for the price of 1 and we are VERY happy with how they fit and feel. Thank you Target for making reasonably priced items that feel high-end. see less

I got my first set of this bedsheet in 2011. The quality was impressive and remained the same after a couple of wash! It's 2013 now, and within 2 years, I have acquired a couple more sets. I ordered the light blue color. It is more of a blue green color instead of the baby blue that is pictured. They are really pretty. They were rough at first, but they get softer with each wash. I have washed them three times and they are very comfortable now. I wash the fitted and flat sheets separate in order to keep the wrinkles out of them. see less

My 2nd set and just as nice as the first .................Substantial and well made and fit my very thick mattress. Bought the first set for our queen guest bed and have used them for 3 years of bi weekly washing as I use that bed for naps and late night reading, when guest are not present. They still look and feel nice. Can't wait to get the new ones pressed and cases starched for some quality bed time in the king bed.. Will order another set for each bed before the sale expires.......... Can't imagine anyone thinking these are "scratchy" ..............Reminds me of linens found in the better hotels. see less

I love these sheets for many reasons. I love the feel of them, almost a soft sateen. They don't wrinkle after washing and drying them. I also use a face wash with benzoyl peroxide and it doesn't bleach the pillow cases or sheets! see less

I have loved these sheets from day one, and 2 years later they are still in great shape, super soft. i have 2 dogs that sleep under the covers on the sheets and the occasional visit from a cat. there are no holes, tears, pilling, all dirt and spills have come right out in the wash. Yes, these sheets wrinkle! I am ok with this, most non-wrinkle fabric are finished in chemicals. If you can catch your sheets in the dryer right at the end of its cycle and throw your sheets on then, wrinkling will be greatly reduced. see less

I was shocked to discover that sheets are bonded with formaldehyde which does not wash out. Pesticides are used in transit to protect against pests during shipping. Toxic resins are used to create wrinkle free texture. All getting absorbed into your skin. I love theses sheets in the beige fan which is soft and smooth. All I wanted was a set of white sheets - plain white sheets. Cotton, not made in China, fair thread count. Day I went into the store, queen-sized white sheets were at a premium, as in there were none. My choices were a brand, white on white stripes and the new, then, Threshold brand. So I took my chances. I love these sheets. My biggest complaint was that they wrinkled inordinately when washed. The first 2 times. Just finished washing them for the 3rd time, and while they're not smooth like polyester, they"re softer, lightly wrinkled, looking wonderful. I'll be buying a second set this week. To me, these sheets are like the ones my Mom used to dry on a clothsline in the backyard when I was a kid. I do love 'em. see less

I bought these in blue and king size, and put them on our bed today. They washed beautifully, and were color-fast, as far as I can tell. I have a regular king size mattress with a memory foam topper on it, and do not find that the fitted sheet is too big. I really like that these feel thicker, and better quality, than the sheets I was replacing that were a higher thread count and twice the price! see less

I am currently registering for our wedding, and of course, sheets are on the list. I don't like the color of his sheets, which is why I want new ones, but it is so overwhelming reading everyone's different reviews. I thought we wanted all cotton. Finally this morning I got the brains to check the tag on our current sheets - and they are these ones. I had seen these sheets online and written them off due to bad reviews. We have been sleeping on these sheets and these sheets only for over 2 years. We wash them weekly. We are not fancy sheet people. We want something comfortable that doesn't fall apart. These sheets are exactly that. You cant beat the price, and these are super comfortable and we have never had a problem with them. No lint. No problems with washer or dryer. They do wrinkle, but thats cause we cant put them straight on the bed from dryer, as we have to go elsewhere to do washing. But seriously! great sheets. I purchased the yellow leaf sheets because they are the cutest and a great price! I saw some customers say that they are rough, but they aren't! They might have been a little rough at first, but just wash them and they are so soft. The colors hold up well, they are pretty durable and they fit my queen bed perfectly. Unlike most sheets, these sheets need no breaking in to get that soft feel. The fabric doesn't feel quite as durable as regular cotton sheets but since there hasn't been a problem in that regard I can't complain. My favorite color is turquoise and I am glad they come in that color. The price is good for the quality, great for students on a budget like me. see less

I bought these sheets several years ago when they first came out. They were pretty, but they were too small for my deep mattress and they required ironing. Recently, they wore out but they were so pretty, I went back and bought the same thing and they are even better now! My new sheets fit the deep mattress easily. Before I took them out of the dryer, I had set up the ironing board and heated up the iron, so I went ahead and ironed them, but they didn't really need it. I love love love these sheets. Thy are not "soft" per se, like fake polyester sheets, but they are not scratchy in my opinion. They are crisp, all cotton sheets and I love how comfortable they are. They look great on my bed, especially with the Shabby Chic Pintuck Duvet-another amazing buy!! If you like satin sheets, don't bother getting these. But if you like a rustic, shabby chic look and the feel of crisp cotton sheets that are still soft, you will love these. see less

I will say, I make my bed everyday. The sheets need to be pulled and tucked in. All sheets are going to wrinkle and move when you sleep on them! I bought these sheets based on the store sample. The sheets are not as soft as the small sample and came out of the dryer with tons of wrinkles !!! Not sure what the first reviewer is talking about. I took them out of the dryer before the cycle was up to make sure they would not be wrinkled. After ironing one pillow case I decided they are going back. Who wants to be ironing???? I would look elsewhere for no iron sheets that are truly silky which these are not. see less

The satin stitching that is supposed to be a decorative feature on these pillowcases stopped about half-way across one of the pillowcases in a set I purchased. At this price, I would not have expected such a major and obvious flaw/defect in the product. Then, although Fieldcrest is basically a Target brand, Target made it so difficult for me to obtain a replacement or refund for this product, that ultimately I gave up, vowing to take Target off my frequent shopping list. Seriously, the hoops I jumped through, being passed from customer service person to customer servivce person, only to end up completely dissatisfied with Target and these pillowcases!! see less

Thick, sturdy, good quality cotton in a great weave - reminds me of old fashioned high quality oxford shirts - and so comfortable to sleep on. Nothing like 100 percent cotton EVER. I picked up this sheet set and have been using it the past month or so. I love it. I bought it in a Full size in the Gentle Gold color. The sheets are sateen so it's very silky feeling. They have deep pockets so they can fit over the mattress and memory foam. I washed them before use and haven't seen any loose threads or shoddy workmanship. I haven't had any pilling at all. I've been a fan of 500tc sheets for years and this 700tc is definitely the smoothest most comfortable sheet set I have ever owned. I went ahead and bought 2 more sets after testing these sheets out for a month. You can't beat 40 for this set. These pillowcases are very soft, but the sizing is strange. After washing and drying, the end of the pillow sticks out the end because it is too short. One of the pillowcases was about an inch shorter than the other. The width, however, is about four inches too wide. These will be returned. see less
