We don't go camping often, maybe once or twice a year. I wanted a sleeping bag instead of schlepping a huge blanket and sheets for our air mattress. I prefer cool weather camping(between 50-70 degrees) so this seemed to fit the bill.I liked the colors, rounded bottom and that the fabric inside and out is slippery(easier to flip over!). I usually sleeping with a down comforter at home and I get really uncomfortable sleeping without something of that sort of heft and puffiness. Another thing I can't live without is my body pillow. I'm 5'4, and this embark sleeping bag was perfect for me. Just the right fluffiness, but not really heavy or too hot, I was even able to comfortably fit my body pillow in there with me. I've so far used it when it was in the low 50's at night, and it was honestly JUST right. If it got much colder, I'd need extra blankets, so it's not really true to the whole 30 degrees thing. Another con would be that there was some messy stitching on it, little strings hanging off here and there. So obviously it's not a "top of the line" sleeping bag, for 25 bucks, I got exactly what I expected.
