I ordered two sets of these chairs in red for my dining room. They arrived faster than anticipated. Putting them together was a breeze. Didn't need any tools aside of what was included, and it took about 30 minutes to assemble all four. Only issue is with the black footsies. They were hard to insert and they seem to pop out when I sit in the chair. I have very thick carpet so maybe that makes it a bit hard for them to find a foothold. Other than that, they look great, are of better quality than expected and mirror in style of the more expensive Italian original. see less

I love these chairs. I had bought a dining table second hand, and was looking for the perfect set of chairs. These are it! They are very comfortable and sleek. The height of the back hits me, and many of my friends and family in a perfect spot. Great support. I bought the blue and green sets and felt the colors were well represented, at least on my computer. I did take into account some of the chipping comments, and gave them three coats of poly. This maybe took me an hour for six chairs, which includes taking the legs off to spray the seats. Even with having to buy the two cans of spray poly., these chairs were a steal. I got these on sale, which was even better. They were also very easy to put together, no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend these chairs. see less

For the price, this stool was hands down a pleasant surprise. It actually works, is not wobbly, fairly comfortable and style is ok on the eyes. Of course, if you look closely you will see that its no an expensive piece- vinyl will never look like leather, the chrome is cheesy i.e. its not real chrome, etc. but I could not ask for more. I've had this table in my house for 2 years and it's worked very well. I put it together in one night, it wasn't that hard to put together. My kitchen is pretty small so the slide under stools are great. I've had to go around and tighten the screws twice. The stools have become wobbly and just recently the black panelling on the corners has started chipping, but for [$] I think it's a great buy. I'll probably buy another one soon. see less

These barstools are almost what I was looking for- something with adjustable height for my kids, and something easy to clean. Pros- 1.Very easy to assemble! It took me longer to take everything out of the box. 2.The adjustable height and ability to swivel all the way around is great! 3.Very easy to clean up messes! 4.They are clear and prevent small spaces from looking cluttered. Cons- 1.Picks up all the handprints from the little ones. 2. The base is not as heavy as I wanted it to be. It is made of plastic. They tilt as you start to put weight on it, but it will hold the weight once you're on. My husband is 6' tall and weighs 180 and it was comfortable. My oldest daughter fell when she leaned too far. It is sturdy, but it can tip over. 3. I mainly ordered these barstools for my kids, but they are not heavy enough to make the stool go down. My oldest weighs 78 pounds, just to give you an idea. Overall, I am pretty pleased with these bar stools! see less

Lest you think I am just mechanically impaired, I need to inform you I put cheap furniture together all the time. The screws just did not fit well. Sometimes the threads just had something in them and were fine once I cleaned them out. Sometimes the screw wouldn't go in at all and yet other times, the screw would go in about halfway and then get stuck. [...] They are very cute and a great color as they are a true taupe. see less

I bought this bookcase to fill an empty corner in my bedroom that needed some nicer organization. I assembled it in about a half hour and I am very impressed with the overall look... appears much more expensive than it actually is. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on quality was there were a few scuffs on two of the shelves, but a little furniture polish helped to diminish them a bit, and the pegs that connect the upper and lower pieces did not want to go in as easily as they probably should have. Also, heads up on the 3 wood screws required to secure the two pieces... one screw goes on the back two pieces and attaches fine, however the screws that go into the side pieces were at a very awkward angle and difficult to screw in - you need a short phillips head or it won't go in... I ended up using a swiss army knife. All in all I'm very happy with the shelf and you can't beat the price. Oh, and shipping was super fast, got here a week earlier than Target quoted!! see less

The price is what drew me to this table, and the fold down leaves for saving space. My only complaint so far, is that the leaves were not the same color. One was painted uniformly and the same as the center panel, but the other has a different tint which is noticeable. I may just add a coat of robin's egg blue to the entire top and add some character to as well. These were nice but I didn't love them so I didn't keep them. I put one together and it was very easy, took about 10 minutes. All the holes lined up. The fabric is a micro suede so if you touch the fabric it leaves the imprint. Also, some of the nail heads were put in at an odd angle so they didn't line up perfectly and when you attach the seat to the back they also don't line up perfectly. The chair is also a little shorter than described, it's more like 33.5" high. I was able to return them to the store, [...] Overall, nice chairs just didn't work right with my space. see less

It's HALF the price of a nearly identical set at a local furniture shop, and it's constructed the SAME! Everyone who sees the set loves it. Purchased this table and chairs set over the holidays and I am pretty happy so far. This table, is 100 percent solid wood and very nicely made. It is increasingly difficult to find solid wood furniture these days so this is a great find for me. The table is sturdy, a little heavy and very solid. It is the perfect size for a smaller kitchen and is designed very well as you can drop the leafs and set it up against the wall. The only problem I had was that the first table I received had some damage on it and the replacement had a few cosmetic issues from manufaturing that I was not thrilled with. I kept it because I did not want the hassle of doing a third exchange. Please note each table has its own quirks in terms of finish. Great buy for a pretty decent price. Just make sure you inspect it upon delivery. see less

I've had these chairs for a few months now and no issues to report. I originally bought 4 to go with the Kennedy table and am now coming back for 2 more to make a set of 6. These are very cute and comfortable chairs for the price. Since colors online usually look somewhat different than real-life, here are just a couple of notes - These chairs are more green than blue. The only blue is the navy stripe. There are 2 kinds of green - one sea-foamy-y and the other teal-y. The grey-ish color is a mushroom/sand kind of grey. - It doesn't look bad from a distance, but just so you know the wood color of the chairs does not match the wood color of the corresponding Kennedy dining table...the chairs are definitely a more reddish color. I just assumed that items in the same collection would have the same wood color, but apparently not! It looks fine, but if you are super picky about this kind of thing it will drive you crazy. see less

To make a long story short the console was cracked in two small places when it arrived. [...]. I some stripped the tool that helps screw the bolts into place. I am usually pretty savvy at putting things together but this was tough. Called my step dad and he brought some tools over and some type of oil to help the screws go in better which probably explained why I stripped the very small what was supposed to be a tool. I felt Target could have passed more saving to their customer since we are putting the energy into putting it together. It is a beautiful piece and I ordered decor to cover the cracks which you can hardly see unless you are looking for them. It was just such a pain to put together. I stumbled onto this table while shopping online and decided to order it. I ordered on Fri. and it was delivered on Tues. It is solid, well made, super easy to assemble, with extra parts included although I didn't need any. I am very impressed with it and happy I took the gamble to order this online. After reading a lot of these reviews, I was extremely skeptical about this table. But after seeing it in the store, I pulled the trigger. It just looked great. Not a "veneer" looking cheap piece of furniture. I did however have my drill and hammer ready and waiting, prepared for a headache to put this thing together. Have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Everything lined up perfectly and I had it put together in 2 hours. I am SHOCKED at the construction of this table considering the price. It is solid and sturdy, and I couldn't be happier. I promise you, neither you or your guests will look at this and think "cheap." I looked at a table just like this at another store for double the price, and after inspecting it, I could literally not tell a bit of difference. If you need a table like this, just do it. I love this table! Some of the online reviews had me quesitoning the quality, so I bought it in-store where I could view a pre-assembled model first. the color is rich and everything is solid, if assembled correctly. All of the pieces I had fit together perfectly and I had no problems putting it together. I recommend two people and a power screwdriver though. Some holes are not drilled, on purpose, so screwing them in by hand without a power screwdriver might call for a bad review! Holes do not need to be pre-drilled, the wood screws will bite in once started. The instructions are a bit cryptic in some places, so some might have trouble with assembly. Also, the dimensions are listed online and on the box. It is not counter-height or bar-height, but a little taller than a standard table. Personally, I love the height! All in all, it's a great value! It is a beautiful color, sturdy and not too small. It makes our apartment look richer and provides a great place to dine! see less

I recently purchased this table and chairs set for my apartment in New York City...needless to say, SPACE is an issue...and I could not be happier! First of all, this set is NOT flimsy, rather it is surprisingly heavy and VERY sturdy. Despite other reviewers who complained that it was difficult to assemble, I had absolutely no issues getting this all together. One thing I would always recommend when assembling any wood product, even though the instructions dont mention it, is to use wood glue wherever the wood surfaces meet up before nailing or screwing it together. This will help make if practically indestructable. Another thing that may help people decide if this is the right table for them is to know that when both drop leaves are put down, the table top sticks out from the wall 24 inches. Overall, I would say this is a very stylish and durable set. Let me know if you need help putting it together, lol... see less

3 years ago I purchased a pair of stools in my local Target. We just added two more to our expanded kitchen bar. We can't believe that the original 2 are still as good as new! It took just a minute to put together. The lift works easily. They are very comfortable - even for my 200 lb. husband. And the price is amazingly affordable. When we have company I lower them to chair height and add them to the living area. Downside is the shiny chrome bases show dust & spills more than a brushed metal. We use them daily; breakfast, lunch, newspaper reading, & keeping each other company while cooking. I also liked that they are sleek and light weight. Was very excited to get this table and chair set to supplement table space for a large family holiday dinner. In the middle of dinner while using this set for the first time, one of the chairs collapsed. Luckily, my cousin, who weighs less than 190 lbs. was not hurt when he fell backwards to the floor. I think there is a flaw in how these chairs are designed. I really liked the way the table was designed, folding nicely to a manageable size, but the chairs are scary.
