This was one of the first toys my son really loved. He started playing with it around 4 months and he still likes it at 12 months. I highly recommend it. This one is different than other stacking rings because the top ring -orange- has beads inside it. My son loved using it as a rattle when he was really little. see less

My little guy doesn't play with this a whole lot, but they are fine for what they are. He's never utilized the rolling feature, but does like the the little topper that makes noise. I wish that the colors were more basic instead of the brights so that I could talk to him better about the colors as he plays. I'm not sure that he'll recognize the lime color as green. The biggest deal for me is that there's no red--instead it's a pinkish purple. see less

I purchased this for my 10 month boy & I received different colors as well as spaces. Instead of all circle rings, I got one triangle, square,clover Or flower shape & two circles. And the top ball is not yellow as website pictured! This one looked more for girls not cool at ALL see less

I have a 15-month old who's played with this since he was around 6 months old. At first he'd only take pieces off or dump the whole thing over, but now he likes to put them back on (in random order) and spin the pieces around. He especially likes the red pieces!My little guy is pretty rough on this toy, and a friend's kindergartener tried to stand on the wooden base -- but it's still holding up great. The paint has gotten chipped though, because of being chewed on.The 3 stacks and different shapes make this complicated, so when we get to working on stacking the shapes in order, I'll probably hide the non-circular pieces at first. This is also good for teaching colors.By the way, my little guy liked this so much that he hid one of the pieces where I've never been able to find it . . . but we still play with the rest. see less

My 18 month old son loves this stacking toy. He really loves manipulatives and this is a great one. I like that it has 3 different stacking pegs. He can mix and match them. As he gets older he'll learn to match, "build" the squares, and stack according to size and shape. He sits and stacks these for a 1/2 hour at a time. It's very sturdy and well made. I bought this for my nephew when he was 10 months old. It was probably a bit too soon then, though he seemed to like looking at it. The colors are very bright and it seems well-made. By age 1 he was much more interested, and it was very fun watching him figure out how to put the balls in. He's 15 months old now and still seems to enjoy it. He likes the music, too, and it's not too annoying for adults. see less

My daugther and my niece and nephew love this toy. I also take a shoe string and have them put the shapes on the string. It is great for learning colors and shapes and then also to string things. Their ages are 2-4 years old and all of them love it. see less

I live in Japan and my grandson, who was turning 1, is in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was delighted to see a shape sorter that was also educational (the biblical story of Noah). I had the present sent to him and it arrived in just a few days. I was able to watch the party by Skype. When he opened his presents they put the computer on the floor and I was able to watch Joel unwrap the Shape Sorter that I sent him! He immediately began trying to play with the animal shapes. It was adorable and made this Grandma very happy! see less

I can already see that this toy will be a favorite for a long time. My four month has very poor vision and the bright colored lights on this delight him. If I prop the toy up for him he can hit the keys by himself. The songs are catchy and not annoying. I appreciate that it has an off mode. see less

My 6 month old son loves this piano. It's bright, colorful and easy for him to press the buttons. I love this toy because you get so much for your money! I love the three settings and that the toy teaches colors, animals, numbers, songs, Spanish, etc. I also like the little catchy tunes and the woman's voice is pleasant. A great find! see less

The scoops easily slip off each other, so my 9 month old mostly just plays with the individual pieces. Cute idea, just wish the pieces locked together better for storage purposes as well so pieces aren't separated. see less

Not fun for my daughter at all, she's 10 months old. Doesn't hold her interest at all. She will chew on a scoop for a couple seconds then put it down and she's off to something new. it looks cute, but yeah just no. see less

I was very disappointed when my niece's 15 month old daughter tried to play with it. I was happy when she immediately tried to stack the ice cream scoops on top of each other but was as confused as she was when they slid off. I am amazed that a 15 month would know that there was something wrong but the expression on her face showed that she understood. The scoops should snap on to each other - not slide off. I gave my niece the receipt to return the toy but am worried that with four children she might not want to take the time to wait in line to return it. see less

My daughter got this for her first birthday. Its a good toy for us to play with together, but the purse doesnt open very wide and closes too easily, so she gets frustrated quickly when playing with it solo. I'd say that other brands fill up and spill out toys are more fun, for her to take things in and out of, but most of them do not have the music and talking voice that she likes with this one. see less
