We love all of the California Baby products and this is just one to add to the list. We have been using the sunscreen for several years but this was new to us. I like that it makes it so easy to apply the sunscreen to the face and I no longer get the sunscreen in my daughter's eyes as she squirms and I rub. She tells me she likes it better and does not squirm nearly as much because she knows it in not going to go anywhere near her eyes or mouth. This is a great choice for all sunscreen needs. It does take slightly more elbow grease to rub it in so you don't see the white but honestly it is not bad at all. We have had other brands which were far more difficult to rub in. see less

My 13 month old son doesn't mind when I put sunscreen on his arms or legs, but gets really frustrated when I try to put it on his face. This makes it really easy to do just that, especially on his nose and his cheeks. It is great to carry with us in my purse or his diaper bag too.The only thing that I wish is that the SPF was a little higher. I use 75 on the rest of his body and feel like I have to put this on much more often. see less

I previously used the [brand] sunscreen for my toddler. [brand] is great and highly-rated by the EWG for safety, but it is very expensive. Thinkbaby is just as highly-rated by the EWG but cheaper. Of course, because it is mineral-based, it leaves a white residue on the skin, but it blends in more easily than [brand]. Only downside is a slight odor. Nothing too over-powering though. see less

I recently used this product on my very fair 6mo baby's face. It went on well and kept her from getting sunburnt while on a Mexican Vacation. I decided to try it on my face as I ALWAYS get a sunburn on my cheeks and nose regardless of what spf I use. It worked perfectly and for the 1st time my face remained sunburn free. This product is amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first on how well it could protect my skin but I needed something easy to use during a camping trip and let me tell you, it is worth every penny. Very easy to apply, protects very well, and even kept me from tanning as much as I usually do. The only thing i would suggest is to spray this on while outside as it is a spray and I do rub it in sometimes to makes sure I have every spot covered. Overall great product! see less

I discovered the product a few years back, fishing on big lakes. Generally, I hate any substances on my body, face or arms. This was a very clean feel, NON grease, at the end of the day, I don't feel grimy. I loved it. I use it most when riding motorcycles. One hundred degree days don't faze me. Two issues: Sweat getting into my eyes! I need to keep it away from my eyebrows and the corner of the eyes. Secondly, would love to have a little stronger SPF rating! Maybe 45! This product works quite well and is okay for a sunscreen. The lack of fragrance is very good. However, if you use this product, expect to have clothes stained quite badly by the product. I use a set of clothes that are specially designated for sunscreen wear. They have bright orange stains around sleeves and collars and are not fit to wear anywhere in public. I'm 51, very fair skinned and break out easily. This is the only sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. I'm very active outdoors and never have a problem with it in my eyes or rubbing off easy. I do not think it has the odor of sunscreen like other products and it really works. I keep it in all my vehicles. Highly recommend. see less

This is such a great product. I've always had problems (and still do!) with acne and I'm also a runner. My skin has done so well with this product, I now wear it every day, not just if I'm going for a run. I'm extremely picky about sunscreens and was very grateful that EWG.org has so much information about what sunscreens really offer. This is rated as one of the best and also one of the highest rated for its low toxicity. PERFECTION, especially at 7 dollars a tube. I recommend applying a light moisturizer before hand and then applying a pea sized dollop of the sunscreen to all parts of your face to evenly rub in. You can turn your face white if you over dollop. Once rubbed in though there is no color change to your skin and it has magically made my very sensitive skin look better. I worked in the sun for six hours yesterday and came home to the same color skin I left with. Kudos Coppertone!!! see less

This would be a great product if it did not have methylparaben and propylparaben as ingredients. I was excited to see this product listed on EWG's sunscreen review website as one of the the top sunscreens and I would agree if it was paraben free. The parabens are not listed on the outside of the bottle. The label needs to be lifted up and unfolded and flipped to the backside of the label to see that parabens are included. The zinc oxide is an impressive 14.5% yet it rubs in quite easily. The scent is mild and smells like typical sunscreen. Coppertone, remove the parabens and this will be an excellent readily available sunscreen at an affordable price which is not available from your competitors. see less

After a total thyroidectomy I needed a sunscreen for the incision. I needed one that would be waterproof, non-irriating, sweat reisitance, and not clog pores. I also wanted the added benefits of vit E. I was thrilled to find that this product had all my requirements! It dries to silky smooth finish, not chalky, greasy/ heavy, doesn't cause breakouts, works very well under makeup--and most importantly protects the skin--my face and neck in perfect form after a several mile walk! I purchased this hoping to have an easier time with sunscreen. I love that it sprays, and is spf 50. It does have a lot of different extracts in it, which seem nice. However, I felt like I had sprayed myself with a cooking spray. I felt greasy and gross. I do use sunscreen in excess to make sure I am covered. This did not ever feel like it absorbed or dried. I just felt greasy. I am now using Banana Boat spf 110 and it is way better! see less

I really have gotten into using tanning lotions during the winter months, so that I dont TOTALLY lose my tan! I started by using the lotion versions from Jergens, then I saw the foaming lotion, so I decided to give it a try! Honestly, I like it best because it doesnt streak as much as the regular lotions. You'll probably see results after a day or two! Be warned, a LOT goes a LONG way! The only downside probably a personal thing, is the scent isnt all that great....its hard to describe, but its just a funny scent not super strong though, you get used to it. BUt bottom line, this product WORKS and is worth it! see less

I have used several self tanning products over the years and while most do the job they also have a funky smell that goes along with them. Not this stuff, once you put it on you really can't smell it anymore. I won't say it's fragrance free but it's very mild and not really noticeable at all. The other thing I like about it is that you can put it on and get dressed a minute later, I don't have to wait for it to soak in and dry like I do with lotions. I'm on the pale side of the skin spectrum and I always get the one for medium to tan skin tones because the light shade doesn't give me enough color. This sunscreen is one of only a very few that comes in fragrance-free but they all still have that "sunscreen" smell which I really dislike. Also, this lotion is way too thick and greasy. I have yet to find a sunscreen in any brand that is truly fragrance-free that feels good on the skin so for now I'm sticking to facial lotions with sunscreen. The sunscreen in the facial moisturizers only seem to go as high as 30 SPF (I'd prefer at least a 50) but I just can't tolerate the sunscreens. see less

I have been using this product for years and LOVE it! I hate wearing foundation and bronzers and use this instead. I have fair skin but use the medium to dark which looks great. I often get compliments on my "glow" which is always when I wear this product daily. I have never had problems with streaking or an orange color. It actually looks like a natural tan. I use every morning and apply a dime to quarter size amount. I can imagine if you apply too much at one time you might have an issue with streaking. I've also used a light weight sunscreen, to add more SPF, under with no issue. It does take a few days of use to "build" a darker color although you will see a difference the first day. Also, I recommend not scrubing your face too much at night or you will strip the color off. I use a non-soap cleanser everynight with my finger tips to clean off my makeup which works great. Also, I have very sensitive skin and have never had an issue with this product see less
