I LOVE this coverlet, its so soft and cozy. The pattern is different, which I love. Its a solid color with a texture, exactly what i wanted. However after just one wash the threads came loose. And I am extremely careful with my washing.
I've had the quilt for over a year now. It's probably been washed five or six times. It's held up perfectly. No pilling. It (as do most quilts) just keeps getting softer the more its washed!
I love this quilt and am considering buying the same one but in white (I have the tan) to go with my new comforter a bit better.
It's a nice weight- perfect with just the top sheet to keep me cool here in Texas during the summer, and when paired with a blanket or comforter, works perfectly during the few colder months we get.
The queen sized quilt just barely covers the mattress and hangs over the box spring maybe a couple inches on either side, and is just barely long enough to tuck in at the foot of the bed and reach far enough up the bed to look right. But this is not unusual- I find myself wishing most bed coverings were a bit larger. At least this one is big enough.
I recieved the crinkle quilt and shams as a gift before it was rebranded to Threshold. I think it was Target Home before? Anyway, I love the look of this quilt. It's similar to something you'd find at [..] but for much less! The only complaint I have is that after washing for the first time, it did develop some pilling. The stitching can come loose too, but if you're careful when washing it should last!
