My husband really wanted bamboo cooking utensils (even though they are hand wash-only) and he uses them ALL the time. I would suggest washing them quickly after use...they are harder to scrub clean if food had dried overnight(especially rice or egg). see less

This set is awesome! Only 4 stars because most of the cut-out edges are rough but they can easily be filed smooth, overall a very good set. They seems sturdy and like they will last me a while. Awesome deal too! see less

Great set with all that one needs when just starting out. I would agree that the plastic does wear off quickly and measure cup markings fade or aren't that permanent to begin with. We only used them a few times and it's fading. see less

We got this as a wedding gift, and it really does have everything we needed. The tools are nice quality and have a professional appeal to them. However, we found the edge of the flipper quickly became worn down and food sticks to it and won't come off in the dishwasher. We solved that by shaving off a fresh surface with a knife. Also, the markings on the measuring cups washed off immediately when we first washed them by hand with regular dish soap. It seems like they just used a cheap paint to print the markings on them, but there's no loss of function, just an unsightly whitish spot where they used to be and some inconvenience trying to tell the 1/3 cup from 1/2 cup at a glance. Still the value for the entire set is great. I'd say get the set, re-gift the measuring stuff to someone else, and buy a set of stainless measuring cups and spoons for yourself. see less

My husband and I have only been using the set for a couple days...but the first time we used the spatula...it like melted on the back side and already looks like it has been used for like a year. I thought oxo was really high quality...however...the rest of the stuff has been great. The can opener works amazing...so maybe it was user error...who knows. I like the handles...we actually traded this set with a [...] set I got for my bridal shower. Love the tongs. see less

I bought this set while it was on sale. The utensils are great and very durable, I have a habit of melting the ends of my spatulas and this set holds up to it. I love the set only downside is that they didn't come with a holding container, but that's easy enough to fix. see less

This is really a high quality kitchen tool set. The only tool I don't like is the fruit corer/slicer. It seems to be cheaply made compared to the rest of the tools, but It does it's job, and isn't a deal-breaker. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone. The price tag is a little high, but overall it's worth having these tools compared to other more cheaply made ones. Calphalon never disappoints. see less

Great products. Haven't found a bad Kitchen Aid gadget yet. A little pricey, but well worth the money. All gadgets are heavy-weight which keeps them from feeling flimsy in your hands. see less

I bought this set having used KitchenAid tools and gadgets in the past. I thought I would be getting a quality, durable product but I was wrong. This set was very cheaply made. I have owned it for less than a year and the handles have broken on multiple tools. The ink used for the KitchenAid brand has all but disappeared on every gadget, and I would often get a "plastic" taste in my food when using the spoons. This must be a cheap production set from KitchenAid because normally their products are of good quality. see less

I've bought these for others for weddings, and finally got some when I got married. I really like them. The only thing I don't like is the smooth wood of the bowl of the spoon gets rough when you wash them. It's just a small peeve of mine. I keep these in my crock. see less
