My baby started playing with this at about 3-4 weeks, and it quickly became his favorite thing in the whole world. He happily spends 45 minutes or more on it... Giving me some time to get things done. It has been great to watch him develop hand and foot coordination while playing. At first he got frustrated when he couldn't hit the toys he wanted, but now he's mastered it. Also, sometimes he only plays with his feet, listening for the music to start when he hits the piano keys... Teaching him cause and effect. Easy to throw in the wash if he spits up or has a leaky diaper. Also easy to toss in the car. We never visit friends without it! He's three and a half months old now, and he still plays every day. Looking forward to when he can sit up and use the piano uprit. see less

My daughter is 9.5 months old and has had a difficult time with sleep since she was 6 months old due to separation anxiety. The other night I put her seahorse in the crib and she immediately watched it and smiled. When she wakes up in the middle of the night the seahorse helps her fall asleep on her own without my help. We have been trying to transition our 2 month old from her co-sleeper to her crib during nap time. She would nap in her crib for a few minutes and wake up, then it was back to the co-sleeper. I bought this before my baby was born, because I love seahorses and it reminded me of the glow worm I had as a child. We bought the blue one, since I think it's much cuter. SO glad we did, we take it everywhere with us when he's going to need naptime or bedtime. The music is a wonderful mix of classic tunes, with a soft "bubbling water" sound in the background. The music lasts 5 minutes, and my baby learned to push it's tummy and turn it back on. ALSO NOTE inside the Seahorse is a switch to make it loud or quiet. If you think it's too loud, open up it's back and turn it to the quiet setting! The batteries are safe from baby because you need a screwdriver to open the back. Got this toy for my 9 month old son for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it!!! It's a great product and he loves to chew on the balls and spin the green dinosaur that the balls pass through to get to the bouncing stage. He also thinks it's funny watching the balls bounce everywhere...and I mean everywhere(I think the sides could have been a little higher to keep the balls in better.) I've been working with him to throw the balls back in. I would have liked to have seen a storage space for the balls though, I am constantly chasing the balls down because he gets them out of the dino's belly and rolls them everywhere. With three kids under 5, keeping them entertained out in public is key to my survival. They all love my phone but I have always been nervous about the 2 and 1 yr old breaking it. This has solved my problem. Today alone, it kept my one year old busy (playing one of the FP apps) while we waited for our food at a restaurant. He did his worst to it, including several tosses to the ground, and my phone was no worse for the wear. The cover washed up nicely after being handled by a boy with grape jelly fingers. This is adorable! My daughter is almost 8 months old and she is thrilled to press the buttons, spin the mouse, open and close the lid. It's truly a toy that will grow with her as it teaches her colors, shapes, numbers, letters... The volume is good, not too loud, but definitely clear and easy to understand, even the Spanish. I pull it out when I am going to be on my laptop and we "work" together. I can tell she likes doing what mommy is doing. My only disappointment is that the numbers and letters are not very clear on the little screen. Perhaps if the dots had been smaller and there had been more of them to create clearer lines, but she is still hearing the numbers and seeing them on the buttons so it's not a complete visual loss. I will also say it is a terrific size and weight. She can pick it up easily and will be able to carry it around, using the handle, once she starts walking. Definitely worth the investment. see less

Received 2 of these for my daughter's 1st birthday, we kept the pink one. She was just starting to walk, but that didn't keep her from enjoying this toy. She played with everything on it and would sit and push it back and forth. As she learned to walk better she started walking around pushing it. Yes, the handle doesn't stay up, it's not for a child who needs to support themselves on a toy to walk, but if you work with them and give them time, they will learn to walk and push this around. It is a little noisy, ok a lot noisy, we weren't prepared for how noisy, but our daughter loves it and that's what matters. It's keep her attention, makes her laugh, easy to clean and has held up just fine for 6 months and I see it lasting a long time. see less

But the pizza and cookie set that come with the table are plenty to keep busy with. We assembled it a few days in advance and had no missing pieces or instructions. I love that it converts from a "kitchen play" table to just a plain table perfect for coloring and other activities. The height adjustment option will ensure that she will get lots of use out of it. The Fisher-Price Stand-Up Ballcano™ isn't exactly what I expected because of it's name. Instead of spewing balls out of the top like a volcano, the balls roll from the top and down the sides of the legs, each having a different path for the balls to take before they are either caught in a tray at the base or roll off unpredictably (much like lava would flow, I suppose). The toy kept both of my boys entertained for quite a while. My oldest son enjoys collecting the balls and putting them all in the top and he can hardly wait to make them all roll down again! My youngest son enjoys all of the different music that the spinner plays. A great toy for someone with two kids in the toy's recommended age group. I had a lot of fun playing with them by chasing down the runaway balls. This toy definitely teaches sharing! see less

I would have to agree with other reviewers that every time you push the button the first time, it seems to play the Lion King song, and I wish there were more Disney songs too, but when you keep pushing the button several times in a row or drive it, it does play a few other songs about each of the characters. Bummer about the negative reviews! I got this toy for my son Christmas 2011 and now it is October 2012 and its still working perfect. We haven't even had to change the batteries yet. My son, 16 mo. old, loves pressing down on the blow hole splash and making it squirt water. This is a good quality toy and he enjoys it very much. I made sure to screw the battery compartment very tight and make sure the black rubber seal is tight as well. We haven't had any problem with water getting in. see less

I have an almost 4yr old and an almost 9 month old. The youngest recv'd this from Santa for Christmas. He, of course, has no idea how to work it himself. He loves to watch it when his brother activates it, though! My oldest cannot get enough of this toy. If there are only 3 toys in the tub, guarantee this is one of them. We have never had a problem with the mechanics of it, water in the battery compartment (it seals REALLY tightly - which is good since the oldest likes to hold this completely under water) and the motor has lasted through it being activated out of the water multiple times. Our son received this when he was 8 months old-6 months adjusted for prematurity-and has loved this toy since day one. Now that he's on the move and his coordination is even better, he loves to push the train around and spin the top of the train. Every time the "riding on the train" song comes on, he begins dancing...he just loves it. As a parent, the songs can get a tad annoying, overall we enjoy it as well. We like that there is the music and the alphabet setting and that the train goes all the way through the alphabet one letter at a time as well as through the ABC song. This is one of our guy's clear favorites and well worth the -modest- price tag from our experience. see less

My son got this for his first birthday and he really likes songs and lights. It sings the ABC's when you move the wheel on top. It's easy for him to operate...he just presses on the green horn button and the toy activates. When he pushes the toy it'll either sing a song or go "chugga chugga...choo choo". I like that it has two modes, learning and singing mode. Learning will do the alphabet with examples and singing, well, it sings! Simple toy but one of his favorites. see less

This high chair looks so cute attached to the Servin' Kitchen & Table. My 2 year old daughter just loves to place her baby doll in the seat and pretend to feed her & give her the bottle. You could also use the seat independently and then you child could move it wherever they want to feed the baby. We definitely recommend this set, so cute! see less

The scoops easily slip off each other, so my 9 month old mostly just plays with the individual pieces. Cute idea, just wish the pieces locked together better for storage purposes as well so pieces aren't separated. see less

Not fun for my daughter at all, she's 10 months old. Doesn't hold her interest at all. She will chew on a scoop for a couple seconds then put it down and she's off to something new. it looks cute, but yeah just no. see less

I was very disappointed when my niece's 15 month old daughter tried to play with it. I was happy when she immediately tried to stack the ice cream scoops on top of each other but was as confused as she was when they slid off. I am amazed that a 15 month would know that there was something wrong but the expression on her face showed that she understood. The scoops should snap on to each other - not slide off. I gave my niece the receipt to return the toy but am worried that with four children she might not want to take the time to wait in line to return it. see less

Its a good toy for us to play with together, but the purse doesnt open very wide and closes too easily, so she gets frustrated quickly when playing with it solo. I'd say that other brands fill up and spill out toys are more fun, for her to take things in and out of, but most of them do not have the music and talking voice that she likes with this one. see less

My little one oves this toy! He even tried to use it before he could walk. Now that he can walk, he goes all over the house with it! My child has had no problems using it on any surface, hard wood, tile, and carpet. We have all three in our home and the popper works on all surfaces. Of course, the child has to pick the handle up to use it, but once that is mastered (it isn't difficult), the popper works like a charm! We had a popper for my DD2. Now we are getting another one b/c DS1 is toddling now and sharing this toy is not possible. Other reviews complaining about how it doesn't work on hardwoods - they are right. The amount of pressure needed to turn the wheels is hard for toddlers to achieve on hardwoods. However, in our house the adults push the popper and "chase" the toddlers with it, so its not an issue. I only gave 4 starts because I think it should have an expandable handle. I'm 5'8 and my back is [hurting] me from hunching over chasing toddlers all day with a popper! see less

The foot that has more than one mode is a lil sensitive, but it's not like my kid is complaining. She loves it, 2 1/2 years old almost 3. She carries it everywhere. The "magic" teapot is too cute...my daughter loves pretending to pour it into the teacups! We have had several tea parties so far and only had this for about 2 weeks. It is a great toy by itself or as an add-on toy for the Servin' Surprises Kithcen & Table...my daughter gets excited when she places the tea party set on the table and it "unlocks" tea party phrases & songs. I was so excited to give this to my daughter for her 2nd birthday, and she seemed really excited when she opened it. Once we opened the packaging, I realized that the teapot won't actually hold tea/water, so you have to actually pretend. [...] As if that wasn't enough, the cups have holes in them, so you can't even fill them with water without using the tea pot. Such a lame toy. I immediately returned it. Also, the "tea" that pours out of the tea pot is a long skinny piece of poo-looking plastic that looks disgusting. see less

This tricycle would be wonderful, except it is still too big for my twins, even though they will be three in two months. We bought these last summer and it was way too big, and still is. The twins are in the 70th percentile for height, so it is not because they are short. My girls are so frustrated, and so am I. The seat should be adjustable on all tricycles. Before you buy, PLEASE save yourself time and frustration by trying this out in the store. Do NOT buy as a surprise. see less

I got this for my 1month old, we had the Seahorse but it doesn't play long enough she likes to listen to the music longer.. She loves it. I just wish the light would stay on a little longer. It only stays on for a few minutes but the music plays for 20 minutes. She likes seeing the light so I have to get up a few times to turn the light back on. The stomach area is made of soft plastic and when you push it it plays a song, if you push it again it plays the sounds of crickets chirping and frogs croaking.
