My 9 year old son built this set in the first two days that he had it. He couldn't wait to get home to work on it and he's played with it consistently for the past couple of weeks. I love the Lego Star Wars Rancor Pit! It's from the Jabba the Hut scene in Return of the Jedi. On the back of the box it says you can combine it with Jabba's palace. There's a gate that you can drop on Rancor. There's even a hidden compartment where you can put bones and a place where Luke can hide. There is a door that opens and if you wish the set was bigger, there's a little thing where the set opens up. Rancor can walk around and he can go Da da da da. I'm 6 years old and I put it together myself. The set came out this year. I recommend it to anyone who loves legos and star wars. see less

My eyes first shot to this Lego set, and you've gotta love the classic 3PO and R2 Escape Pod set from Epidode 4! It has no missing parts, they're all bagged up inside. Once built, this cool Lego set will be a fabulous one to add to your Lego collection and it's very fun to play with it in your own Star Wars Lego story! see less

This is one of my favorite Lego set recently and the best starship kit we have built. It feels compact and looks very cool. It is easy for my son to hold while playing. The set was easy to assemble with the included directions. The build time was enough to be satisfying without becoming a chore. The ship is very well designed and is not as fragile as other sets I have experience with. Even after several days of play all of the pieces are still on together. The other great feature about this set is the additional minifigs and the little mining platforms for the figs to battle from. Overall great set with a lot of play value. Everyone automatically assumes Star Wars and Legos are just for boys. This is totally wrong, we got this set for my son who is 8 yo. My 12 yo daughter has been playing with him and enjoying it as well! Neither of them has ever seen a Star Wars movie but they both love Legos and know more about Star Wars than I do! The set came with not just 1 or 2 little Lego figures but 5!!! YES!!! My kids thought this was incredibly awesome and of course they set out to first put these figures together and have little play fights with them. The fun part is they even came with light sabers! They have been working together to put the ship together and we all like that the pieces come in separate bags like little kits that make it easier to figure out what is what. My son struggled a bit with the instructions since they are all pictures and very little wording. You have to guess a lot what the pictures mean. However my daughter has no problem jumping in and helping him out so together they got it done! The author of this review received a free sample of the product. see less

My 7 year old received this set for his 7th birthday and was able to assemble it by himself in several hours. There are so many fun details that it just really lends itself to extended playing. The bush and the police sign on the front edge of the set do tend to fall off a lot but lego sets tend to suffer casualties when played with. Overall Excellent value! see less

My 6 year old son was so excited to get this truck, but that changed to sadness when the truck wouldn't work. The controller is awful and unless he followed the truck around it didn't steer at all. We returned it the same day. Spend a little more on a better rc vehicle, it will be worth it. see less

At first my son loved his new helicopter. Now after only having it a week it wont charge anymore. The on/off switch on the helicopter is very cheep and where the cord plugs in on the helicopter to charge it is very loose. I emailed the company, we will see if I get a reply or not. Doubt there is anything they will do, but for the price, I would expect it to last longer than a week! see less
