My son who is almost 3 has a blast with this car and it's worth the price. It's a great start off car. Since we're Italian and Francesco is my dad's middle name it's a great remembrance of him. Actually I am guilty of playing with it too. It's pretty hilarious! The whole family had enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend this item! see less

We have bought many an r/c car over the years, and this is by far the best. It is simple to use, durable, and responsive. Our 9 year old takes it up and down the side walk, the walkways, even can drive it "curbside" if he's careful. It has fallen off the curb a few times, jumped off a made up ramp, and through some sprinkles (not completely getting wet), and works great. You may not be able to tell, but as you turn the wheels left and right, the eyes move left and right, which is pretty cool too. I can't recommend this enough as a well made, easy to use r/c car. see less

At first my son loved his new helicopter. Now after only having it a week it wont charge anymore. The on/off switch on the helicopter is very cheep and where the cord plugs in on the helicopter to charge it is very loose. I emailed the company, we will see if I get a reply or not. Doubt there is anything they will do, but for the price, I would expect it to last longer than a week! see less

My son really wanted this toy for Christmas. When I saw it on sale online I asked my husband to pick it up. It is one of the Target items that can ONLY be purchased in the store. He went to three different stores and they wouldn't honor the sales price. Every store manager gave him a different reason. The most blatantly incompetent was "we were told not to give online prices anymore." However four days later an just a few days away from Christmas the the sale price is still listed on the Target website! We ended up buying it from a well know toy store for the price listed here. Really disappointed in Target! see less

after reading reviews, thought i'd try it. yes, it does dive to the ground at first try and even second and third. reminds me of my stryker c for advanced pilots. once i figured out how to toss it and allowing it to dip before gaining height, it really flew well. triming is a little tricky. i've learned that air hogs puts out some real junk, and some real good stuff. after a while, air hogs has taught me much patience. remember one thing, don't throw the plane, only gently toss it. if air hogs ever brings back the bi plane, it was best for beginners. see less

This plane is by far the biggest piece of junk and biggest hoax of a toy I've ever purchased. Hands down. Out of the box the plane just nose dives straight into the ground. Doesn't even attempt to fly. I am a engineer and spent several hours with this plane trying everything from bending the wings to changing the position of the battery all in a effort to try and get this toy balanced properly so it could have a chance of flight. Nothing worked and it was a complete waste of time. It's too bad because the Air Hogs helicopters work very well, I honestly don't think this plane EVER worked and it seems to be a complete marketing hoax. see less

We got the first set of these for my son's 5th birthday...Lightning worked great out of the box, Francesco did not. They were returned and set number two came home. Same situation. Francesco would move and then stop. Tried fresh batteries but same problems. Guess this set goes back and we look for something else. see less

My boy loves the sound effects, the missles and easy to drive. There has been NO problems and this toy has held up to my boy crashing it into his other toys, throwing on the floor during tantrums and it still works perfectly. I'm impressed, it's one of the first toys ...let alone a remote toy that has actually seemed to be made with a childs rough play in mind. Excellent purchase! Car req. 4 AA batteries and Controller req. 3 AAA batteries. see less

They appear to work on the same frequency. We bought a "Lighting McQueen" and a "Mater", and we thought "Mater" was broken because it would only move sometimes, and wouldn't go where we wanted. We returned it for a "Finn McMissle", and when both kids were trying to use them at the same time, one controller would run both cars. Other times, one car would just sit still, even though the "forward" level was being pressed, then all of a sudden, it would move backward - this happened if the other child move the other car backwards. This was similar to what was happening with "Mater". My husband realized they must be using the same frequency. This led to a lot of tears...try to explaining radio frequencies to a 3 and 5 year old and why only one of them can use their toy at a time...however, good tools if you are trying to teach "taking turns" see less

For a flat surface this is a very good RC car and the best one we have owned so far. We received this car as a gift for my 2 year old kid on his 2nd birthday. The car has received so many abuses from my kid and still it has been working without much problem. The remote control device is also very strudy and will not break easily. I gave it away to my bro-in-law's kid when she wanted to play the car and would let it go. This time I am going to buy this for my kid. see less

Just picked this one up for my 8 yr old. This helicopter works as advertised. You can crash it and it is protected by the Cage and also rights it self. This gives you plenty of chances to learn how to fly it. Other helicopters I had were broken only after one or two crashes leaving the kids upset and discouraged. I like this one since I don't freak out when the kids are learning how to fly it, they can really learn on their own and not worry. I noticed the battery gets stronger after a few charge and discharges. Have Fun! see less
