A little smaller than I thought, but still absolutely perfect. Anyone who says this piece of furniture is difficult to put together, obviously has a serious reading problem. It's no more difficult than putting together LEGO's pay attention to the instructions, and it goes together fine. This is the 3rd Carson Espresso collection item in our home, and we plan on purchasing more to go with this piece in the family room. The other pieces have been just book shelves. For twice the price, we could have purchased junky items that were similar, and similar in construction, from the local furniture store, so this is a great deal. see less

I ordered this for our 46" LCD tv and it is perfect. The wood is great quality and it looks great in our living room. We did have a little difficulty following the directions, but got it figured out. I like the way all the screws and such are placed in pockets according to each step. see less

This was easy to assemble and arrived well packaged without any dings or breaks. Took about 90 minutes to put together and it looks great in it's new home. The color is more gold or mustard, not a bright yellow, which works great in my home with wood floors and light colored walls. see less

I loved this media cabinet from the moment I saw it online. My husband put it together in under an hour with no problem. It arrived very quickly and the packaging was great! My only complaint is that the wood has a nasty odor that filled up my living room, seem to dissipate after a few days. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and it was exactly what I had anticipated. see less

Just purchased this TV stand. Instructions are very lacking. Just make sure the top and bottom arrows face toward you. This will be the front. I was able to put it together by myself. It took about 4 hrs since I had to take apart and redo. The only problem is the shelves are only 15 inchs wide, so my satalite box and DVD player do not fit inside. They should have made the drawers a little smaller to allow a wider shelf. see less

Looked real nice in the pictures but proved impossible to assemble. Threaded inserts pulled out of the material. The inserts for the cam locks were not driven in to the correct depth making the cam locks impossible to lock. Terrible quality. Sending it back. see less

The unit we received was warped, and maybe not cut right. We weren't able to put it together without damaging it significantly. We are returning it. Its a shame, it looked like it was going to be really nice. see less

I was looking at a very similar TV stand from [...] that was hundreds of dollars more expensive - so glad I went with this instead. I have a lot of Target furniture in my apartment, some stuff better than others - this really does NOT look like it came from Target. This is a very solid piece of furniture. Plenty of space inside and the shelves are adjustable. Hides all the wires. I will agree with the other reviewer, the shelves and the top piece are more black than espresso, but it doesn't bother me. I put this together by myself and it took just over an hour. There are a lot of 'cam locks' but all the little parts are grouped together and labeled to match the instructions. You'll need a small phillips head screwdriver. Mine was shipped with a few scratches and dings which I wasn't too happy about but nothing overly noticeable. I was able to use a brown furniture touch up pen to correct most of them. Overall a great purchase and it looks awesome in my living room. see less

For the money, I thought this is a very nice and strudy stand. It will take two people to put it together, especially when putting in the sliding doors. The top of the stand is not expresso it is a black color, which I didn't mind. see less

Great looking TV Stand. Meets all of my needs. For whatever reason I thought the glass on the doors were frosted, but the glass is not. The clear glass is fine. My niece and nephew put it together for me in about 30 minutes. There were two pieces that had small dings in them, but not noticeable if you were not looking for them and given that this item shipped out before the hurricane hit and arrived after, I am surprised there was not more dings. I would recommend this to others and I may pick up another one. Wish the stand was cheaper though. I have taken two pictures of the stand, so hopefully I can figure out how to attach them. see less

I purchased this on 9/30/12 it arrived [...]. It is lightweight so if you live in apt. it's easy to get upstairs. This stand is just as well built & the quality just as good as any stand that costs much more money. Easy to build, directions are easy to read. in the 2nd picture it appears the doors are clear they are not, they are plastic which sounds cheap but they are very sturdy plastic & look nice when all done. DO NOT pass this up great price, great quality for the money. see less

This piece is 1-2 shades darker than shown, a true "espresso". I am using it for my 50" and it fits just right. The assembly was fairly straight forward, except as stated in a prior review that a few of the predrilled holes were not large enough for the packaged screws, but after opening them up a bit with a screw driver it went smoothly. The storage space is adequate for my needs. I added some door pulls and am happy w/ my the value and look of this stand . see less

Purchased this for a projection tv that weighs about 60 lbs. Ours is not wobbly at all with the legs on as some other reviews have said. I was afraid this was going to look too 70's based on the picture, but it actually looks a lot better in person. It's a lot darker than the picture and looks more modern. You could easily leave the doors off to have all 6 shelves exposed, or add knobs to them. I was afraid the quality would be poor based on price, but this is an awesome product! see less

a - Look at the price and try to find something else this inexpensive that's not made of cardboard. b - Don't manhandle the thing putting it together. c - You'll get a decent, sturdy little shelf for the money. I'm not sure what the reviewer whose stand broke into pieces at every stage of the process did to make that happen. The shelf was easy to assemble and is actually very solid. I bought this tv stand because I was redecorating my room and wanted to change up all my furniture. It took me a few hours to build but was not to difficult. The look is great and for a small room I think it goes perfect. As people said it is a little wobbly on carpet but my carpet is pretty hard so it doesn't shake to much. If I would have read the reviews before I probably would have taken the bottom off and just let it lay flat but for my situation it doesn't shake enough for me to be worried as I am pretty carefull with my furniture. Also the drawers did take some time to get in but be patient and it will go in. Overall great tv stand for a small/midsize room. see less

stand was really easy to assemble. no trouble with the drawers not opening. but directions are a little confusing explaining how to install the drawers. this stand is super strong it is currently holding my 36 gallon fish tank which weighs 288 pounds. the stand was not sturdy with the little legs on the bottom. but if you dont use them the stand is really sturdy just sitting on the floor. see less
