For the price, the quality of the shelves is okay. However, the drywall anchors provided did not hold the shelf. Luckily, I had sturdier ones left over from a different project, and those seem to work okay. I just now finished the installation, so I'm still waiting to see if it'll hold weight without falling. The installation hardware basically screws into the wall and there are two stick-like tubes that go into the shelf to hold it--I'm not sure if they're long enough to hold the shelf to the extent where several pounds would be held or not. I suggest only getting these shelves if you aren't putting them on drywall or aren't holding much weight. see less

Installation is easy, so long as you throw out the hard plastic wall anchors that come with the shelves. Go buy some soft rubber anchors that fit the screws. These type of anchors require a much smaller hole and you just tap them in with a hammer. They will hold a good amount of weight. see less

These wall shelves were the perfect and final touch that my living room needed. They were very easy to mount, I rated 4 stars because they are very easily scratched but it's nothing that a brown/black marker can't fix. see less

The shelves themselves are really cute, but installing them is almost impossible. They come with really cheap plastic wall mounts that leave giant holes in the wall, and they're very difficult to screw in as they keep bending or breaking in half. I love the shelves but had to return them. see less

I bought the top picture about 2 months ago, on a whim. I really liked the inviting look. Well, I finally repainted my living room this week a color called "Desert Sand" ....a kind of really pretty light coral color, but very warm. After I decided where to hang this picture, I could not believe what happened to the picture! It picked up the new wall color and instead of being a brownish sepia tone, it too had the Desert Sand tone. WOW! Now I am going to get the other print. see less

I was surprised with these. They are quite nice, better than I expected. They are real wood with carvings on the front. I bought two sets based upon a previous review. Four of them line up nicely over my King bed, with spacing between. see less

We had a little difficult ... see more

We had a little difficulty installing them in part because it was our first try at this sort of thing. One plastic anchor broke off in the wall and that was a hassle to get it out. We drilled larger pilot holes from then on. Also, with the 24 inch shelves we wanted to put screws at each end into the wall studs as suggested in the instructions but they only send one wood screw per shelf. I had to make an extra trip out to buy more screws. Seems like they could throw in a little more mounting hardware. We also had a problem with our wall being bowed and so one shelf would not hook onto the wall mount as easily as the others. After some practice, we were able to put up a shelf in less than 10 minutes and we are pleased with the look of the end result though it took several attempts to buy shelves that matched in color. As long as we don't try to have them support something heavy, expect to be pleased with them over the long run. see less

I am a machinist and very mechanically inclined. Loved the looks of this shelf. Installed it correctly first try. Very flimsy and disappointing. Does not "click or lock in". Says 18 lb capacity. I would say 5 is a gamble. Shelf sags due to imprecise mating method between the wall bracket and shelf bracket. Aluminum also thin and flexible. Tips-make sure you install wall side bracket correctly. And tighten so it stays flat. Dont overtighten some screws. That affects final fit. Works for what i bought it for. see less

Horrible installation and shelf will not stay in the bracket when you add any weight. It fell right off of the wall scraping our newly painted walls and scraping up the shelf to the point that it is now unreturnable! So frustrated and disappointed! Terrible purchase! see less

I ordered the 48 inch shelf online because its not offered in the store. The smaller one is offered in the store and the quality seemed to be good. I paid [$] if you include shipping. Just received it today and its plastic. The core feels like styrofoam. The packing paperwork calls it PVC. The website says its MDF. Pretty big difference if you ask me. My husband and I bought these shelves to use as an accent in my office. The mounting hardware included with them was absolutely the most terrible hardware I've ever come across. The screws were so weak that they bent while we were trying to screw them in with a manual screwdriver! Good thing we own a pair of vice grips to pull them out of the wall, and live close to a home improvement store so we could get proper mounting screws! I would definitely not recommend using the hardware that comes with these shelves. Also, the mounting holes are in a very awkward place on the bracket, so it is very hard to get them to screw in where they're flush with the metal of the bracket. Bit of a design flaw. see less

I just paid [$] for a small rectangular shelf. The adhesive mirror doesn't stick and falls off the wall after a few minutes, no matter how hard I press. The shelf itself is ok, and works with my living room, which is the only reason I haven't returned it. Also, as previously reviewer mentioned, it is black, not brown. see less

This is a terribly cheap shelf. First of all, it's black and NOT brown. It's not even that brown/black color. It is CLEARLY BLACK. Also, the "mirror" is one of the worst I have seen. It is in 2 pieces and cardboard. The mirror quality is like that of a mirror that is in a child's makeup play set. It looks all bowed and weird. I am returning this immediately back to the store. So, in conclusion, if you like cheap and ugly things, this is the shelf for you.... see less

This is hanging in my living room and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. The gold colors in it make it sort of glow. Head's up - this does not lay flat on the wall, something I wasn't aware of when purchasing. Brackets on the back are bent and after hanging the panels jut out about 3". I only see my hanging straight-on but I don't know if I'd like it as much if I had a side-view of it. Also, I'm not totally crazy about the 1st panel. When I took it out of the box I thought it was a defect because the 1st panel is much darker than the next two--even darker than is pictured online. I wish this wasn't the case but I still love it overall. Metal art is expensive on many other sites and Target's is a good value without seemingly compromising on quality. see less
