I order maternity clothing because it is longer in the torso. I purchased this thinking it would be longer than your average sweater. It hits me right at the waist. I can only guess that maybe they meant to say it is regular and not maternity. I knew the sweater would be fancier due to the close up picture. It is a dressy sweater, and the material is thin. This is not a snuggle up and be warm sweater. I am debating whether to keep it. I am 5 ft 7 in, 165 lbs, and have weight distributed fairly evenly but definitely have a belly ..think 3 months pregnant, and 1st trimester, if you are thinking of this for maternity wear... I ordered the large. It just fits. If I keep it I will not be drying it. The sweater, when laying on a flat surface, is exactly 28 inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem. see less

I ordered this thinking it is a plain black sweater, but turned out to be shiny sweater. The sweater is full is glittery speckles fit for wearing at night or for New Year's Eve. Not a typical sweater to wear everyday. Size fits well, but sweater is thin material. see less

This sweater looks to be a long, comfy maternity sweater - until you open the package when it arrives in the mail. It's very thin and isn't as long as the picture depicts. Will have to go back. see less
