There's poor circulation in my office, so I bought this air purifier hoping it would help with my allergies. I started using it in the office today, and I've noticed a considerable difference. I haven't sneezed once, and I don't feel congested. Even my co-workers have noticed a difference! Why did I choose this air purifier over others? 1. Although there were only two ratings, both guests gave it 5 stars. 2. It's very quiet if you keep it on the first or second setting and not disruptive to me or my cubemates...it's only noisy if you use the third setting. 3. It's compact and doesn't take up much space in my small cube. 4. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

this is a very quiet model, and surprisingly small for the area it covers. there are 3 speed settings and i can only hear it on the loudest one. and that too is not that loud. it's barely enough to overpower the ticking of my wall clock.

Myself, my son, and our Boxer -yes, our dog-, have awful seasonal allergies. We also live in Okinawa Japan, where mold, dust, and God only knows what else, run rampant through our 50 year old home. Needless to say, we're in a recipe for disaster. We finally bit the bullet and bought this air purifier about a week ago and couldn't be happier!! It has made a world of difference in our home! The noise isn't bad at all and we run it on high 24/7. I recommend this to anyone in a position to even be questioning it. You won't regret it!

i bought one a week ago for my allergies. i was waking up several times a night to blow my nose. when i got it home i just removed it from the boxed and plugged it in. it gave off a odor for the first day, but dissipated. after the first night of use i was able to sleep through the night with no nasal congestion. i would recommend this to all my friends and family.

I have had this product for over a year with no issues and I plan on buying another one for upstairs. I don't understand why people are complaining and are so angry over it! It does cool our living room and I love it. If you don't have air conditioning and don't plan on getting it, this is a good alternative. It won't cool more than one room, but it's a swamp cooler, not AC. You do have to add cold water and ice, but it's not like that's hard or anything. If I fill it with cold water, I can run it all day without refilling. I really don't get why people hate it so passionately.

I recently purchased Sunpentown Portable Swamp Cooler and am really amazed at how this little machine can cool my room. This Swamp Cooler is cost effective and affordable. It uses evaporation to lower the temperature. Adding ice definitely increases its effectiveness. Im satisfied with the purchase and happy to have it around.

Overall an elegant and powerful AC. A wish list for the engineers and instruction writers. 1. It would be great if fan turned off when the condenser turns off, however at least it does not turn on off as frequently as another portable I have. And I did not see a portable advertised that has this feature, however my window AC does. 2. Instructions could be visually more detailed, I was somewhat challenged by the extension sliders covering one hole. Would have to cut them to have the fresh air intake attached as well. Fortunately one review, but not the instructions, mentioned that only using the exhaust is actually more efficient since no hot air intake from outside. 3. The grid protecting the air intake hole is quite wide, if something fell in, then what? 4. Somewhat noisy but no worse than window AC. 5. I do not have a problem attaching the remote, cute idea to have it part of the design and that it does not work when attached, can that be overcome in design?

I have 4 dogs, 2 with double coats, and a couple of cats. So, you can imagine all of the pet hair I have floating around my house. I have all vinyl in the house, and this Hoover Flair does the trick. It picks up hair very well. My house is small, and the short cord won't allow me to vacuum the whole house with out moving to another outlet, but that's really not that big a deal for me. My husband thinks it's very loud. You do have to dump the cup every time as it has a small capacity, but I would do that anyway. Best small vacuum for pet hair on the market.

I have previously owned two Hoover vacuums and a Bissell Clean view I just purchased in February. The Hoover lasted just 4 years sweeping the floor once a week being a single male. I literally got this vacuum and swept the floor with my Bissell vacuum I purchased no more than 4 months ago. So I swept with the Bissell first and then I swept with the Dyson. I was SHOCKED!!! I couldn't believe how much dirt was left over in the carpet. I am being serious, you would not believe it unless you saw it. The ball technology design is a dream come true, talk about getting around everything. The coat rack, just glides right underneath and along the edges of furniture. It is amazing! I admit I thought Dyson vacuums were overpriced. My sister always says her 6 year old Dyson works like the day she got it. These vacuums are incredible. And no I don't work for Dyson, I wish I did! You will not regret this purchase, trust me, I rarely even leave product reviews!

I was looking for a steamer to steam my mattresses and furniture. My friend came over with his garment steamer and I was pleased with his and he told me he would get me one but unfortunately he couldn't so I set out on a quest to find one. I saw a hand held steamer on line at target but it was for online only. I needed a steamer right away so I saw this one. I read that it was 1000 watts and even though it didn't have any attachments, I decided to purchase it anyway. So I called the store to see if it was one still available and it was so the clerk said that he would leave it at the service desk. When I got to the store sure enough it was at the service desk. I bought it with a few other items and took it home. I was very pleased at the powerful hot steam that came from the head. I'm very happy with this product but the only thing is that it doesn't have attachments, but it does come with a door hanger.

Like others I'm very impressed with this vacuum. But was concerned about bad reviews regarding loss of suction. Found rubber seal between filter on back of canister does not tightly seal against motor air intake. Installed 5 dollar generic washable foam filter by tucking it into edges of intake. This safe guards against dirt build up in the only area not access able to clean. Wiping rubber seal and matting surface with damp cloth after emptying canister helps it to seal. Foam filter assures lasting suction. Worth it to me for best design attachments and vacuum I've ever used.

I've had this vacuum for several months now, and can't express my love for it enough! It is easy to tote around the house and picks up everything off of hard floors. I use it on hardwoods, ceramic tile, oriental rugs, and as occasional touch up in my carpeted bedrooms. It will definitely not take the place of my upright vacuum for my carpeted rooms, but I will never waste my time sweeping my hard floors again! If you keep the canister and filters clean, you will not have a problem losing suction. Love this vacuum!

This fan is small enough to sit on a desk, but also large enough to cool a room. The low setting seems sufficient to cool down a room, I haven't really used the high much. It is not super quiet, but otherwise it is great. Can't wait to bring it to my dorm. There is an error in the description. This fan is not 13.8" deep as it states, it is actually about 5" deep.

The size of this vacuum is great for me...light and small enough to move about with ease. I like the adjustable suction. It is great to pick up random cat litter and hair. It moves under beds and low furniture easily. I like the self winding cord with the colored warning marks and I like the clear cannister so I can see easily when it needs emptying. The tools stay confined to their compartment instead of falling off all the time like our previous small vacuum.

If you are looking for something that sucks up cheerios and crumbs from your kids, this is great. I don't know how it works on fabric or carpet, but is it awesome for a quick clean up on hardwood floors. There is no wall mount, but if you have a corner you can plug it in to, it is very easy to access and charge. No additional accessories (which I love)

The item details in the online description indicate that the material is metal. Actually, the legs are metal but the top is "Fibertech". I'm unsure of the quality and durability of this new material. I was replacing an old all metal board that had lasted me decades until someone damaged it in a move when they slammed a car door on it. I love the long ironing surface, as I do sewing and quilting projects in addition to ironing many long garments. The adjustable height is great, as is the light weight. Although it appears a bit flimsy, it stands up well to my big cat jumping on and off as he occasionally uses it as a perch. Price is great if the Fibertech top lasts. I've emailed the manufacturer inquiring about its expected longevity. The cover is flimsy and not washable, but I can easily make a sturdy, washable one.

Having gone toTarget looking for a hand vac and seeing this one on sale for [$] and getting the last one on the shelf I was excited about my purchase. Love the light weight and slim design my favorite feature is the hook on the handle which hangs great on the wire shelf in the laundry room above the washer and also the small battery charger. It is like a phone charger, no cradle to sit in just a simple charger. The canister is smaller so will need emptied more often. So far after using daily for a week it works great has great suction. Would I vacuum my entire kitchen with this? No. But for quick clean ups it works great! We vaccum tracked in grass in the laundry room and quick pick ups in the bathroom. I also went over the floor mats in the car not a deep clean but got up the majority of tracked in grass and gravel. So far very happy with vac. very happy with price I paid feel like I got a great deal!

Right out of the box, the charging cord had a loose connection.. charging light wouldn't stay lit. Knew I was gonna exchange it so I tried it out anyway as it seemed to have full power. Doesn't have much cleaning power and spits dust out the side vents. Only effective use is for scaring the cat.

This vac has a lot good going for it. PROS Good suction, picked up cherrios, even threads on a commercial carpet. Dirt cup empties and rinses clean easily. Easy to maneuver. Wheel wells do not collect hair easily. Dirt Devil has good reliability ratings. CONS Exhaust does blow forward and blows debris somewhat. lowering the angle of the vac helps this. The pleated filter must be washed and cleaned with a tooth brush if your floor is pretty dirty, and must dry overnight. Not as difficult as it sounds. Edge clean is not too good. Vac works best by heading perpendicular into walls. Design hinders getting under very low or tight spaces. Do not recommend holding vac over trash to empty dirt cup. Snap it out to do this. For the price and general vacuuming of hard surfaces, I recommend this vacuum.

I was looking to replace my old Dirt Devil that was 6 years old and the handle kept losing a screw. I just wanted something for the wood floors and area rugs, as I have a larger vacuum for heavy duty with attachments. My complaint with my old one, was that it was sooo noisy, it left my ears ringing each time I used it. This one is much better, not as ear splitting and seems to pick up better. I still have to get the hang of emptying, when I did it came apart and spilled, but then I was used to lifting the canister out, and only need to spring the trap at the bottom on this one- it was stuck at first, and when I detached the canister it flew apart. It is very light and easy to get out, so I am actually doing more quick cleans because it is no hassle and even works well on my larger area rug, getting cat hair and lint off the dark rug, making it look much better. Good buy, 40 dollars well spent.

Bought this on sale today. After first use I am very impressed! I vacuumed my living room carpet utilizing my 10 year old Bissell with freshly washed filter. I then vacuumed again using Hoover Air and the canister was nearly full with dirt left behind by my old vacuum. I can't tell you how happy I am that I finally purchased a new one. Ease of access to, and having a washable filter is pretty much standard fare among upright bag-less models. Nothing special here. Steer, detachable handle for use as tool wand, power, noise and fingertip controls are all pluses here. Also very light. Negatives, no turbo tool, no extra hose like the 72400 model, no auto cord rewind. Canister size is smallish and brush width/path is narrower than others.

Bought this in Summer of 2010, for a second story spare bedroom being used as a computer/hobby room. It gets quite hot on the second floor, even with 24" of insulation in the attic. This unit has been a real money saver, as it takes quite a bit of effort for the central air to reach the opposite end of the house comfortably. So instead of of cranking the Central air down to 32 so it would be 75 in the PC room, we opted for this window unit. It cools efficiently enough for a warm PC room. I would have rated it a 5, but the "Energy Saving" mode is puzzling at best. All in all, money very well spent. My condolences for those that had problems. I'm smiling all the way to the bank!!!

Excellent value! I purchased my first of these almost 10 years ago and it is still working. I now own three and have never been disappointed. I have one in my bedroom, one that works for my entire basement, and purchased another for my office at work, to control static electricity. I also believe the majority of bad reviews must come from improper maintenance. If it doesn't steam enough, add a little salt. And do clean it regularly.

The negative reviews here are mainly by people who didn't read the instruction manual. The vaporizer works very well for a [$] dollar unit! Lots of steam and easy to maintain. A lot of the vaporizer's performance has to do with the quality of the water you put into it. The purer your water, the less electrical current, thus the less amount of steam. The instructions recommend adding a pinch of salt if your unit does not produce steam. The "black stuff" at the bottom of the unit is just residual minerals that are left behind. The harder your water, the more black stuff will be on the bottom of the unit. A simple rinse takes care of the problem. Over time, the vaporizer will start to produce less steam. Simply soak the humidifying unit while unplugged in 3 parts white vinegar to 1 part water for the day. That will remove the hard water deposits from the probes and have it running well again.

An older [...] unit that ate about a set of batteries a year for the base station just conked out so I am buying another La Crosse unit to replace for measuring the outdoor temperature/humidity. The unit feels a little "plasticky" compared to the [...] unit which was built like a tank but can't argue with its performance under the grueling conditions in my attic.

Most wouldn't keep a signal. actually none did except this unit. There is also a nice webpage for Information and support and a number you can call if needed. The batteries lasted 4 months. The screen will fade a bit and it quits . Would be nice if it had a low battery indicter.I give this unit AAA

This vacuum is perfect if you're vacuuming 4-5 days per week due to pet hair and don't want to pull out your big vacuum all the time. We have a long haired and medium length haired cats in our house and we tend to find little hair clumps in corners, on the stairs, everywhere really. It has great battery life and great suction! Some users said it didn't perform well on rugs, but I've found that it works well enough to get pet hair and crumbs off all length rugs. My only complaint would be that the stick vacuum doesn't have as much power as the handheld vac, but I assume this is because the handheld powers the larger vacuum. However, it's a minor difference. Still works great both ways.

i have bought many handheld and stick vacs in the past but this one sure made an impression. it is not meant to replace your large vacuum, but can handle a lot. i've used it for pet hair, in bathrooms, bedrooms and my very large loft living room. it last about 20 to 30 minutes fully charged and a friend of mine told me that the batteries on such appliances last longer if you fully use up the battery before recharging it. not sure if it's true but i've been doing it with no problems. love how you can use it both as a handheld and a stick vac. beautiful color too!! when the unit is charging, it gives off a nice blue light that serves as a night light so you won't stub your toes when walking in the dark. extra perk insert smiley face

This was a gift from my target registry. It is by far the BEST vacuum I've ever used. It is extremely easy to store, as the cord has an automatic button that you press ... no wrapping required. It is also very smooth to move around and the suction is amazing on both the vacuum and the extensions for the hose. I would recommend this to anyone. I also have 2 dogs who shed every day and it is quick and easy to pull the vacuum out and clean it up.

Just a great looking fan. Never hear it and use it on both speeds. Can put it in any combination for perfect control. Very easy to use the clip and has a safe long cord. For the size it moves a lot of air with little or no noise. The clip is strong to hold the weight of the fan. Has a nice slim design. Low profile with the slim design, but it does put out a great air flow on both speeds. The quality is there for the size and price. If you need something powerful for a small space and little to no noise this is a great value.

I bought two of these fans despite concerns after reading other mixed reviews. Im very pleased with the units - the fans satisfy all of my requirements. Unlike some reviews, the clips work perfectly for me. I found that by using an X-10 appliance module to control the outlet I can attach the fan out of the way and am able to remotely turn it on and off (Google x-10 for details on this device). The higher speed setting is too much air and the noise level is too loud for my liking, but then again I have the fan about 5 feet away from me. If the fans were further away I might want to use the higher speed or maybe care less about the noise level.

I've went through a couple of these over the years. Mind you that I run these things almost 24/7, but they don't last like they used to. Even after a few months you can hear the difference - the motor lightly "squeaks" at times. If you can get your hands on an older "red logo" version you would be better off, but they are hard to find. Overall a great fan, but don't expect more than 5 years out of it.

bought this for our newborns room and it's so quiet i love it. he's had a cold since he started daycare -common- and when it's turned up on high, i think he really does better. if the baby sleeps in the room where the humidifier is -and not in a pack and play somewhere else- you will see a huge difference. the only thing i don't like is it drips when you flip it over to fill it up and then drips again to flip it back over.

I purchased this because I needed a humidifier for our baby's room. This is so quiet you can hardly hear it. It doesn't interfere with the baby monitor at all. The noise factor definitely exceeded my expectations. I went into my son's room while the lights were off, with a flashlight, and you could see the vapor coming out of the slot. I turned the dial to see how much vapor would come out with each setting and it worked great. On the high setting, it looked like a fogger, which is more than we needed. We settled on somewhere near the middle. It's true, the lid of this unit doesn't twist to direct the vapor in another direction, but I figured we could always turn the puppy around as needed. Anyway, so far we are expremely happy with our purchase.

The first unit sent showed up and the fins were bent over even though there was no damage to the box it came in.Target paid for pick up and delivery of a replacement unit. The replacement one has a slightly bent frame like it was dropped on its corner. It does work very well though. A good cooling unit. I am considering exchanging again for a none bent one if available.

I have several Zippi's. Some I use in our Writing Center, which can get pretty stuffy, and some I have used to circulate air among my sizeable indoor seedlings in winter and spring. Our Writing Advisors love the zippi--they love its combination of effectiveness and safety. And it moves air as effectively as promised. I love it because school administrators can't object that my "fans" overload the electrical system or represent a safety hazard. My one disappointment--and it's probably at least partly my own fault--is that I've had a couple of zippi's burn out on me when running them for my seedlings. They provide exactly the right air movement; full-sized fans are way too much air, but zippi's keep air moving around more than a 30-inch by 48-inch tray without flattening the seedlings. In one instance, though, I nudged the unit so that it was stuck against a fixed object while running, and it simply burned out. In another instance, a unit just quit without being obstructed.. The zippi motors may not be suited to continuous use. I've switched over to flippi's for the seedlings because the "blades" aren't impacted by objects around them.

I have been using this dehumidifier 24 hours a day for the last two months. I was having issues with mold in my closet - growing on my shoes, etc. This machine has done a great job of taking care of the problem. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a cost effective way to alleviate humidity.I have a large closet and lots of humidity by the amount of water that appears in the water container.

This little dehumidifier is great. got it for my closet that has a moister issue when it rains, works great. Nice tool for quick clean-up. Wouldn't use it as a heavy-duty cleaner, but for everyday pick up it works pretty great. One caveat, I can't notice a difference in the "sonic" cleaning than my old steam one.

Although it does clean your floors great, you have to pump the handle 2-3 times to clean ONE strip of floor. This is NOT mentioned in the advertisement. Yes, every strip of floor you do requires you to pump the handle 2-3 times. My husband joked he could've mopped the same area on his hands and knees in the amount of time it took this mop to do one room because of this. I will definitely be returning and if all steam mops have this feature, I'm hiring a cleaning lady. Tired hands in Florida, Debbie

[...] It is fairley cheap, so it is not going to work like a top of the line product. The fan motor is loud, which to me is normal. It reminds me of a lap top fan motor, or a gaming console fan motor. It doesn't bother me or my husband and we have it in the living room and use it while watching TV. The beeping is loud when you change settings, but I like that I know that the settings are being changed. We've had it for a month and have not had any problems with it breaking and we use it at least 10 hours a day. If you're looking for a decent quality inexpensive fan, go with this. If you want top-of-the-line, pay for it.

I had read the reviews and decided to purchase as I didn't see any real issues. This fan is excellent. Moves a LOT and I mean a LOT of air even on setting 1. No odd noises, just fan sound. The beeping means nothing to me as I am not constantly changing settings or turning it on/off. Very sturdy and really helps keep our apartment cool - AC runs less and we are more comfortable. The only down side is I have to move it from the bedroom to the living room in the morning, and back to the bedroom at night - so I guess we will have to buy another one, which we definately will.

From the day my daughter was born, this unit has been plugged into the wall between her diaper pail and crib. Not only did it keep any/all odors contained and undetectable, she did not get sick once her whole first year! The very slight humming "white noise" also did a great job of calming her down for bedtime. Love this thing!

This is my 3rd Shark, I keep upgrading and handing the other models off for others to enjoy. The smaller models are just as excellent & effective. They clean well and they were all EXCELLENT and easy to use.

I love my shark steamer! It's nature friendly because I don't need any chemicals to clean the floors with. Looks a little cheap but works great.
