“My collection for Target embodies my signature aesthetic of feminine sophistication, with a mischievous nod to the 1960’s.”

Take a look back

Moments from the original collaboration— a celebration of timeless style.

Taiwan-born Jason Wu made headlines when the newly appointed First Lady sashayed and swayed in his stark white, silk-chiffon gown at the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Ball. He has since emerged as one of today’s most influential fashion designers and a modern representation of the American Dream. In 2012, he brought his remarkable talent to Target and designed Parisian-inspired pieces with all-American details. Among his inspirations was a ribbon-adorned little black cat named Milu who reflected Wu’s playfulness and wit.
