Meet the cast
Special stories and superfans featured in the 20 Years of Design for All campaign.
As soon as Sela grew into the Missoni for Target clothing that her mom bought for her, she wore the colorful zigzags whenever she could—most famously to her preschool class pictures. Seven years later, the timeless pieces hang in her younger sister’s closet. Just as the fashion house founders handed down Missoni to their family, Sela handed down Missoni to hers.
“I must say #MissoniforTarget never looked better.”

Little Marina at New York Fashion Week, 2011
Our 2011 Missoni partnership set the public abuzz. The collection campaign included a ’60s-inspired TV spot featuring Margherita Maccapani Missoni, the granddaughter of the brand’s founders, and also debuted a fantastical new face—Little Marina. The 25-foot Italian fashion blogger and Missoni superfan was flown to New York Fashion Week where she covered the Missoni for Target collection, attended events, tweeted and interacted with people in real time. Marina made such a supersized impression that, at the height of it all, she was almost as popular as the collection itself.
