Associate Creative Director at Target I saw A New Hope in the theater at five years old & was instantly hooked. The creativity & artistry of the Star Wars movies brought me so much excitement & joy as a kid. Now, as an adult, I love sharing that same feeling with my three boys.
Experiential Marketing Lead at Target I come from a family of Star Wars fanatics. When the re-releases came out, my dad pulled me out of school to make sure we saw the first showing. I married a more casual fan who still supported my wish to walk down the aisle to the march from the end of A New Hope. He’s even surpassed my fandom & is now more of a “scholar” thanks to the Star Wars Minute podcast. Once he was the learner, now he is the master.
Senior Art Director at Target Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw as a child & I was all-in from that day forward. I obsessed over every bit of minutiae I could find & knew all the names of the concept artists & designers behind the film by heart. This in turn fueled my imagination & played a big part in shaping my design aesthetic. If I ever meet George Lucas, I probably owe him a hug.
