In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re highlighting remarkableindividuals who have forged their own path to success—and inspired their communities along the way.
Meet Regina Merson: Beauty entrepreneur and our second Hispanic Heritage Month Finds feature. Here are words and product picks from the founder of Reina Rebelde—a makeup line inspired by Regina’s Mexican roots and created for today’s mujer.
Reina Rebelde speaks to the many dualities that we celebrate within ourselves and champion in others—our feminine power, our beauty traditions, and the way we must lift others up. It speaks to our grit, fierceness and the courage it takes to push forward while being true to yourself.
As a Mexican immigrant, I was raised in a house where it was instilled in us that we should be unapologetic about our culture and heritage and fearless in our aspirations. I want Reina Rebelde to ignite that sense of pride in people.
Being Latina and a part of the larger Latino community is an immense privilege and a huge point of pride for me and Reina Rebelde. All of our best, most innovative ideas about beauty standards, techniques, and shades are sourced from within the community.
“Hot Cheetos are my favorite snack of all time and always a part of my Target run.”
Stay tuned! We’ll be highlighting someone each week of Hispanic Heritage Month.
