In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re highlighting remarkableindividuals who have forged their own path to success—and inspired their communities along the way.
Meet Patty Rodriguez & Ariana Stein: Our final Hispanic Heritage Month Finds feature and the founders of Lil’ Libros—a bilingual children’s book publishing house. Here are words and product picks from the women who inspire families with authentic stories that promote inclusivity and love.
Lil’ Libros’ mission is to share and celebrate our Latin American culture and traditions with our children, to help parents set a foundation by introducing a love for reading at an early age, and to give them resources they need to read and be able to do so in two languages.
We want to ensure our children are raised to be empathetic and understand that compassion and love can take us to magical places. Our history, our families, friends, shared experiences—it is what keeps us going.
Community is love. Community is your grandmother’s tamales. Community is being the first in your family to go to college and knowing that you are not just making them proud, you are making all of us proud. Community is Lil’ Libros.
