Welp I don’t know what I was thinking when I ordered this. I mean it’s a very cool set but when I opened the box it hit me I would be spending hours putting this thing together. So I decided to store it for next Christmas because this tired mama just didn’t feel like doing it this Christmas.

My two toddlers love their tool bench and it's very well made on the whole, but unfortunately much like the other reviews, the vice broke within a couple of supervised play sessions. As others have said, the wooden pin holding the handle on seems to have snapped. It sounds like a weak point. Am hoping a replacement part is available but we're in the UK and it was a gift so no idea where it was purchased from.

Very cute workbench! My 2 year old loves playing with the wooden pieces. Husband said it was easy to assemble but did take about an hour. Only recommendation: comes with just enough pieces to build items in the model kit instructions so if something is lost or misplaced you might not be able to make all the builds. Buy the take along tool box for extra parts.

Very satisfied with this product. Great size for my 3 year old. Even my eight year old loves it. My son did manage to break the vice already, but he is a very strong toddler. Still very happy. Melissa and Doug never disappoints.

Work bench is great. Just don't tighten the screws until the entire table is assembled. The only issue is the wooden nuts and bolts. Those pieces work better on some days and then other days they are too loose. Being they are wood they expand and contract with the weather and wooden threads break easily. Would buy again.

This is an adorable little work bench and was simple to assemble with clear instructions. Reviewers complaining about assembly must not know the rule to never fully tighten screws until you are all done. Yes, you may need to adjust the legs a bit when adding other supports, but that is normal and to be expected. It took me about 30 minutes to fully assemble (though I did use an impact driver instead of the tiny included allen wrenches). I highly recommend this toy, my son is going to love this when we give it to him on his birthday. Excellent quality, sturdy and will last a long time.
