A: It’s 2nd gen duh there’s no 3rd gen Fire tv stick 4K but there’s a 3rd gen without the 4K
A: I work at spectrum, And this does not support the spectrum app.
A: NO THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH SPECTRUM!!! Please know your job, we've spent over 3 hours with both Spectrum and Amazon, who both says it works, but they could not resolve the problem. Their answer: search for the correct app to download. Save your time and money and frustration, do not buy this if you have Spectrum. I wish someone who works for either company could let you know it DOES NOT WORK! Now I have 2 Firesticks to return.
A: This does not allow a working Spectrum app.
A: first you have to jailbreak the stick, thu devoloper options,

A: You do not need an Amazon Echo (if that's what you mean by Alexa). The remote has a built-in microphone if you wish to use voice commands (you push a button rather than say "Alexa ..."). It also can be used as a remote to scroll/browse the user interface without any voice commands. TV model just requires a free HDMI port.
A: Hi, Rebeca! Regarding your question about the Amazon Fire TV Stick with 4K Ultra HD Streaming Media Player and Alexa Voice Remote (2nd Generation): No, you do not need Alexa, also so long as your TV has an HDMI port and you have a way to plug the Fire Stick into power you should be fine! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
A: I think you mean is it "jail broken", it is not and I don't know of any big box retailers that sell them already "jail broken". However, it's really easy to do as it's not a true "Jailbreak", you just need to enable support for third party apps in the device setup. This allows you to leverage applications that are not officially approved by Amazon, as a result, you can do lots of cool things that are much more difficult to do on an AppleTV. Kodi is a really slick app that acts as a media center with all kinds of options for pulling in streaming content from basically anywhere you could imagine, might want to look it up and see if it's of interest

A: Hi, Anna! Regarding your question about the Amazon Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD Streaming Media Player and Alexa Voice Remote (2nd Generation): The remote included would only control the the Amazon Fire TV, as it uses RF signals as opposed to the IR signals the Samsung uses. This would allow you to browse YouTube and access the internet, but I'd recommend calling us at the following number so we can help you obtain a replacement remote for your Samsung TV. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
