This is amazing. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with type one and you have no Idea how much this has meant to her. Her much loved our generation dolls are now exactly like her! Im forever Grateful to whoever decided to make this set, absolutely amazing.. thank you so much!

My Daughter Loves It

As a woman with diabetes type 1 I was very happy to see " sweat treatment" for a doll. It was a dream when I was a child with diabetes. My doll Our Generation is like me, well not the same insulin pump because I use an Omnipod pump, but I was waiting for this kind of dolls Thank you

I don’t like the name of it - but being a parent of a diabetic child, for someone to make this pump and belt, exactly as hers, is a win win - being ‘normal’ is a blessing

This kit is so realistic and includes things my type 1 diabetic daughter uses daily to care for her own diabetes! I cannot wait to gift this to her! I was so happy to find these accessories. Great job Target!!

She is so happy that her doll is just like her dad a diabetic and she takes great care of her doll.

My 5yo really enjoy from 1st time we sat down and I explained how she need to care for her doll with diabetes. She was so excited to learn something from a “grown up” life and take on more responsibility of a doll care routine. I personally think it’s an amazing move of the company, to teach kids about diabetes and be able to assist people with diabetes in the future. Now my 5 yo want to become a nurse who will be helping people around the world! Is not it an amazing ?!?

My daughter was so excited to open it up and start playing with it. The detail in the items included were amazing and all were made with good quality. The little glucose level record pad was her favorite! I would recommend this set to anyone. It also is a great add-on to any other hospital or doctor themed sets and can be used for any dolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes I know it's meant for a certain type of doll but these also work for the barbie dolls my kids have. I think any doll accessories can be manages to any kind of dolls. But they absolutely loved playing with these small pieces.

I think she would have loved it more if it were true to a kid size vs something more for smaller dolls, but she definitely played with it for a bit and had fun.

It's the perfect doll accessory for a kid that either has diabetes or knows someone who does. The set allowed my kids & I to have an open dialogue about what the items are used for and why. She asks so many question about diabetes now, which with my family history a great to educate her and provide awareness of healthy habits. She loves caring for her dolls and pretending she’s a doctor! She has since asked and received additional hospital themed sets! Love this!

This kit is also a great way my daughter can help teach her friends about her T1D without it being "sooo boring". Things we love about it: That it comes with a pump AND a pen (my girl isn't on a pump, so she was thrilled abut the pen). - The dail on the pen clicks just like her real pen, so she can count the clicks for the appropriate amount of units. - the blue tip of the lancing device can be pressed into the device so her doll can "really get a finger poke". - if you could write tiny enough you could use the log book. - My only con is that the meter always reads 104. T1D isn't like that. It would be super cool if the meter had a way to click through a few readings, a low, a high and in range. My daughter has this to say: "I think it's really great that American Girl did that because I just feel really happy that my Caroline can be just like me. I do not like the orange gluc tabs because that is the gross flavor. I like that it comes with a pump and a pen because if I decide I want a pump then I already have one for my doll.
