Cheap toy and not worth the price at all. The whole backside is just cardboard cut-outs that make each “room” theme; they easily fall out and are a pain to put back together. The elevator jams easily, and everything in the house will fall out bc the entire house is so flimsy and falls apart constantly. My daughter was over it pretty quickly.

My almost 3 year old son is obsessed with the show so we found him a dollhouse second hand. I'm disappointed with the cardboard backdrops for the rooms as they easily come out and can be destroyed just as easily with kids. The sides of the house don't stay open in place while he's playing with it. They just swing back as soon as you push them open.

I agree with others. The elevator gets caught on the background pictures for the rooms no matter how well they’re in. I had to trim the pieces and adjust for the elevator not to get stuck. For $60, this shouldn’t have been an issue.

Really adorable. I’m not sure why other reviews were negative, but I found it easy to assemble and the extra rooms fit in perfectly fine as long as you attached them correctly (the top lines in with the top almost like a lip and the bottoms press in just fine) but make sure you press them so they stay. No issues with them falling apart or off. The extra rooms are pricy to accumulate but personally make the dollhouse. My only complaint is the elevator is a bit difficult to move, even with a little cooking oil (which usually does the trick for us with other toys) - the dollhouse itself could have been a little more sturdy but it’s not falling all over or anything like that. The little tube on the side of the house is a little chute for the surprise boxes which I found pretty cute.

I am a bit disappointed for the cost of this item and the quality. The doors don't stay shut, the room pictures are just cardboard that is inserted into little tabs that don't really keep them on well. Everything is light weight and feels cheap, half of the the items don't even stay up while being played with. Along with this there are rooms you can purchase for add on, don't waste your time with them. It doesn't all fit well together. My daughter loves Gabby and will play with it, but more characters need to come with it or the option of just buying characters.

I purchased this for my granddaughter who loves Gabby’s Dollhouse show. The dollhouse is rather flimsy and the cardboard backgrounds tend to come out. Some of the characters and accessories don’t stand up very well. The elevator is difficult for a child to move and it did pinch her finger. She is over the recommended purchase age. Quite over priced for the quality and contents.

Bought this last month as a big bday gift for my 7 year old. The pop-in backdrop cards do not sit well. Ensuring they’re in the proper locations they still prevent a smooth elevator and little doors open/closing. Regret spending so much on this choice :(

My daughter was desperate to get Gabby's dollhouse, so I bought it for her. As soon as I started putting it together I felt regret. It's so flimsy and cheaply made. Any time you touch anything, EVERYTHING falls off the dollhouse. You can't really set up any of the little pieces in the rooms, because the second you try to move the elevator up it causes the entire house to shake and all the pieces fall off. She played with it for about 5 minutes and got frustrated and bored. If you can find this for 50% off then maybe it would be worth it, but definitely not full price.

This toy is cute but cheaply made and overpriced for what it is. We bought it on clearance last night, and I've spent the whole day putting things back together. I ended up taping the paper window things on so the elevator would stop getting stuck on them. If my 4 year old didn't love it so much, I would return it for something better made. You're basically just paying for the name

My kids love this set. The dollhouse is perfect for pretend play for boys and girls. It's my 4 year old son's favorite show. The extra room sets aren't necessary, they don't even fit in the house really. You can put them in if you want, but they don't fit right. We just bought them because he wanted all the extra characters and accessories. He plays with it with his siblings (or me) and by himself for hours! I love to see him pretending. The back drops of the rooms are cardboard. I'd rather them be stickers, but it doesn't bother me or my kids much. The little kitty fairy piece on the side holds the little "packages" that come with the toys. They release a package when the button is pressed. My son loves to open the packages and play with the characters as if they're in the show. So cute! If your kid loves the show and imaginative play, they'll love it.

My kids say they have had fun with this, but overall it’s so poorly made and constantly falls apart. The room “walls” never stay in and replacing them is annoying and not something my kids (3&6) can do on their own. It’s also not sturdy enough to store the furniture and accessories inside so we have to keep them in a separate container (and with the extra rooms you have to purchase, it’s not big enough to hold everything while closed anyway). The elevator often gets stuck and the extra rooms fall out. The cat roof never stays on. This picture is the general state ours stays in!

We debated this for Christmas for our four year old. We decided to go in another direction. We though it was a meh toy based off of the picture. Our daughter got a $50 gift card from a friend and we took her to Target since she wanted this. She’s obsessed with this toy. It was soooooo easy to put together. I read comments about the cardboard inserts and while tricky, easily doable. She’s been playing with it all day. The one negative I have is they make it seem like it’s a must to buy the other rooms. I don’t think that’s necessary after buying it. We bought the bedroom room and after we put the house together, the room doesn’t fit. They are cute accessories, but it already comes with cute accessories. A must have for Gabby fans!

My 3 year old loves this for the characters, but as others have said, it is cheaply made. Assembly is kinda hard, and I couldn’t get some of the plastic pieces to snap in, making it impossible for the extra rooms to stay in place, I had to glue them. And it doesn’t come with much, you have to buy the 6 rooms separately to add in. She does play with it for long periods of time, however.
