Q: What ink can be used with this printer? Can sublimination ink be used with this printer

A: I have a friend that referred me to use this printer because you can use sublimation ink in it. She has a t shirt Business and had this printer for years with no issues.

A: Hello my4mcboys. The ET-2803 can print on both sides of the paper. The option for 2-sided printing can be selected from the printer settings on your computer. Unfortunately, the process is not automatic, and you would have to manually flip the document over when one side is finished. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

A: Hello Ben. Yes, you can fill up the ink tanks on the ET-2803 at any time. However, for the printer to read the ink levels accurately, we recommend refilling the ink tanks when the low ink alert prompts you. As a precaution, perform regular visual inspections of the ink tanks to ensure ink levels do not fall below the lower line. At first printer would print blank pages each time you went to print, leading to the printer head needing to cleaned mulitple times before the test sheet printed fully. The black ink being the main issue. Now, even with multiple cleanings the black doesn't work at all anymore, what a waste of money.

The EcoTank is great, but doesn’t make up for how terrible this printer is. Currently on my second of this printer. Was sent a replacement after this printer continually had a paper jam error. Replacement printer is now giving me the same error 2 weeks after unboxing. The first printer lasted 5 months. I will not bother with replacement and will choose a different printer/brand.

This printer has a stand-up holder in the back of the printer to stack your paper like the old faxes did (who does this anymore?). No 2-sided printing (unless you manually feed it thru again) No automatic document feeder (not a deal breaker) Paper catching tray has to manually be deployed Cheap plastic; super thin

THIS IS A DISPOSABLE PRINTER! In theory this sounds good - but - in about a year you get a message about full ink pads and the printer locks. You call Epson and after the worst support ever they tell you it means that the printer has hit end the of its life and to throw it out. About a year - thst all you get and it's a brick. DO NOT BUT ECOTANK

Printer replaced and old HP printer that would no longer connect to the WiFi. Set up was easy with the app it walked me through every step. After initial set up all other devices in the house connected to the printer without issue. I like that you can see the ink levels. Its only been a week but so far so good.

This is the worst product ever. I purchased my printer 6 months ago, everything was working until today. I tried printer a document and it shows a error message INK Pad is full. I called support and they simply offer me a replacement printer because it is under warranty. Ok, that is fine until I started ask a few more question like: What is the reason for this message? A: YOU PRINTED TO MUCH PAGES. Will I get the same issue with new printer? IF YOU PRINT A LOR, YES. it is only 3000 pages printed. The new printer will have another 1 year warranty? THE ANSWER IS NO. Do not put your money on trash, this is a discard product.

Pros: purchased in June 2022 and haven’t changed the ink yet. I use sporadically for crafts, life management and work. For my needs, I’m with the output. Recommendation: In my opinion, these printers like to be ran. If you aren’t printing much and the printer sits for a while it may start to have printing issues. I say this because I had a different model prior to this one. It looked the same and used the same ink. I seldomly printed and after it sitting for a while, I began having printing problems. Ultimately, the printer stopped printing the ink onto paper. Issue: The ink clogged, which can be common with these printers according to some YouTubers. Then I had to buy this printer. When I don’t use the printer often I make sure to print at least a couple printer test pages (get online) every 2-3 days. Haven’t ran into any issues. 👍

Incredibly simple setup that took less than 5 minutes. The ink bottles are far better than cartridges. The WiFi worked immediately and we only use Air Print. No delay, either. The bad reviews lead me to believe it is user error, not the product. Bravo, Epson, this is the best printer I’ve ever used.
