Swanson Stevia Extract Powder - Calorie Free

Great flavor and just potent enough for sweetening

We use Swanson stevia predictably. For several years, I have bought the 1 lb jar. This time, price was significantly better buying multiple smaller jars. That's a more convenient way for me to use stevia, funneling the fine power into a small shaker jar. We find no after taste; we recognize some people do find an unpleasant after taste. More broadly, Swanson's business ethic is admirable.

I have lots of these to make sure I don't run out. Happiness for my coffee and don't need to fit it into my calorie budget

I didn't know what to expect when ordering this stevia product. It lists only 3 ingredients. It is a white, loose powder, that needs to be measured when using. I found a 1/2 teaspoon measure and use that amount to sweeten my morning tea. It tastes great. I have considered using a 1/4 tsp amount to see if I can get away with using less and still have enough sweetness, as it is sweet. It works great for use in the home, which is what I wanted it for. I suggest you buy some other stevia in packets for travel. I like it's lack of aftertaste. I really like that it does not contain erythritol which is said to possibly cause cancer if used excessively. I like that it contains inulin, which has probiotic properties and adds some fiber. Considering that the ingredients list fibersol and inulin first before the stevia I expected the readout to show some fiber but it must be a miniscule amount of fiber per serving (1/2 tsp). Will I order again, yes, when it is back in stock.

What I love about this stevia is the taste. Yes, it has filler in it but that mellows out the flavor. I have tried other “pure” stevia’s and the taste is awful. I use a 1/4 teaspoon of this in iced tea, with the juice of half a lemon and orange. Best summer drink ever!

After spending way too much time reading labels at the local (and online) grocery stores only to find that most products labeled 'stevia extract' also included additional ingredients, especially polyols, I was thrilled to find a Swanson product that is truly just stevia extract.

I like the container,,,but the product is not very sweet,,I have to use 6 times the amount to even get it close to my other stevia

I have used this for years in coffee etc. and a little bit goes a long way, tastes great...........

Love this Stevia better than any that you can find in any grocery store. I tried several store bought Stevia brands. Nothing compares to Swanson’s Stevia extract.

We wouldn’t use any other sweetener. It helps knowing it is an herb. We are thoroughly pleased and use no other sweetener.

My husband uses this all the time and for many years so I'm sure it's extremely good tasting in his coffee, I don't use sugar in my coffee at all so can't give an opinion.

What I like about Swanson's stevia is that it has a pleasant sweet taste without leaving an after taste. I don't like too much of a sweet flavor so it only takes a little to make my sweet tooth happy and a jar will last me for a good while.

This is nowhere near pure stevia. It seems to have a lot of filler in it. I make my own erythritol/stevia mixture and have to use about three times as much of this product than when I used a more pure stevia.

Great stevia.Does not have the unpleasant after taste of pure stevia extract. If you are looking for an alternative to artificial sweeteners look no further. This is my go to sweetener.

They have changed this powder and reduced it to half and are charging way more money for it, it's only 1/2 full!!!!!!!!!! Bad business... It's ok but they should only charge 1/2 price for a 1/2 filled jar!

I have been using this product for a long time and it is better than other products that were tried.

We've tried several stevia products, and we like this one the best. No aftertaste.

I thought I'd save money with this product, but because of the fillers I have to use triple the amount that I did with the NOW brand. I'm not saving any money and it doesn't sweeten as well. Can't Swanson's make a stevia extract without the fillers?
