Q: Can these dolls go in the water?

A: I would discourage it, as I don't think they are designed for water play. I epilepsy look for a doll designed especially for use in water.

submitted byLeanne - 6 years agoA: I put my dolls in the water for about 1-2 hours in a salt water pool with me. I squeeze their stomach and let the water drain out then let them dry out over night and they seem to be completely fine to me they haven't faded out.

Q: Do these Our Generation outfits fit the 18 inch American Girl dolls also ?

A: We have used a number of Our Generation clothing items and accessories with American Girl Dolls. I agree that the shoes are sometimes shaped a little differently, but in general we have been very pleased with OG items for our AG dolls, and often like the selection better for OG.

A: Hi Kit Kat 123. The Our Generation dolls and accessories are for pretend play and not meant to be used in water. The shells are plastic and should be good for normal play. The Battat Team

A: That's a great question! The lifejacket in the Our Generation® Fashion Outfit - Fun Day Sun Day™ accessory set is not a real safety flotation device and should not be used to keep a doll from sinking in water. In fact, we do not recommend that you play with your Our Generation® doll in water as it can damage the doll and accessories. Cute. Fun accessories. The bows broke off the shoes within 5 minutes of it exiting the package. I get it , it’s not the best quality for the price, but really..add the bows with better adhesive or maybe skip the bows. My kiddo was so disappointed with the bows breaking.

This is the second our generation clothing item we have bought that is too hard to get on. I don’t understand why there isn’t more stretch or a Velcro opening.
