A: If you spin the seat to it's lowest or tallest position and twist it tight, it will not swivel.

Q: I just bought four stools for my new island. Has anyone ever complained about the size of the seating being too small? I am 190 lbs and have wide hips. Also, how comfortable are these stools since these will be used for our main seating area.

Q: I love the look of these counter stools, I ordered two .however is there a way once you swivel that they don't rock back and forth or to lock them into the tightest option. Has this also been a complaint ?

A: We have not had a complaint on this issue. You might try to tighten all bolts with the Allen wrench supplied. If this still doesn't work then the item could be defective.

The chair isn't that comfortable. I may have to get a cushion. I also got it because of the adjustable height, but I think it's too tall to begin with. I'm 5'7" and I always keep it at the lowest height. I would make it lower if I could. So the adjustable factor has not been useful for me. The backing of the chair is annoying as well. It can be really uncomfortable because of the sharp edges, allowing you to really only lean against it from one angle(with a flat back). It looks nice, but that's about it.

I got three barstools for our kitchen island. Assembly was easy. One barstool showed signs of rust on the feet, had a washer that wasn’t round, and the screw holding the metal frame to the seat wouldn’t screw into the hole that was too big

These chairs are super wobbly when put together tried to attempt to put them together two different ways and not only are the legs wobbly but the seat is also. Very disappointed especially for the price I paid for them will be sending them back would not recommend to someone else.

Love these barstools! I bought a pair and they look good together. They are easy to put together and feel good when sitting in them. My only complaint is that the seat is a little stiff (obviously because it is wood), I will probably buy a cushion to tie on the seat. Great buy!

These are so pretty for the price!! We needed something more modern and most barstools look a little outdated. I've checked everywhere for some that I liked and these worked perfectly. Very easy to put together, it took me about 15-20 mins each and I'm not someone who likes to put furniture together. I love that they are adjustable and easy to clean. I bought 3 of these in the Pewter & none of them rock like some reviews have said.

Love the style of these stools. The center bar that helps the chair go up and down doesn’t sit exactly right so the chair feels wobbly but I don’t feel like I’m going to fall out. Seat is nice and big and for me the back rest sits just right. I would buy more.

The seats are made of plywood and look nothing like in the picture. I was hoping it was an irregularity but all 3 ended up being the exact same. Once assembled, the stool is wobbly and unstable. It feels like you are going to tip over if you try to swivel. Very poor quality. All 3 will be returned.
