The fact that it shuts off while I am actively using, it is the most annoying thing possible. And it’s hard to tell that it’s off because it’s obviously still hot.

I have thick wavy hair and this doesn’t keep my hair straight. After finishing my hair it automatically gets poofy and starts becoming wavy/frizzy.

Unfortunatley my straightener had suddenly stopped working on me so I went to Target to grab one until my new one could be shipped; this Conair InfinitiPro Flat Iron wasn't the most expensive but not the cheapest either, although, after using it one would think it definitley was the cheapest! In order for it to even slightly work, I have to take very small, thin sections at a time and I still have to go over each a few times. The other part that I really dislike as well is that it makes my hair feel "waxy" which I have never experienced before. Lastley, it does not clam very tightly so I have to hold the ends and really squeeze hard. Overall, there is nothing good about this product and in no way would I recommend it to anyone.

I had an old Conair flat iron that lasted about a year, but it never worked very well, and I had to look for a new one when it developed hot spots at the tip and I could no longer hold it without burning my fingers, so I looked for another Conair as I usually can’t afford expensive units and found this one. Imagine my delight when I opened the box to a thin, elegant, lightweight iron that had many heat settings, and other features, but what blew my mind was they listed it as a “single pass” straightener. Those usually are way more money, so I was skeptical. I have 3 sets of double cowlicks and had never been able to control them, one pass: DONE! I have wavy hair that never straightens out and first pass: DONE! After scraping my jaw off the floor, I was so excited to go to work and show off my new straight hair. Run, don’t walk, to get one of these if you’re in the market. May be one of my best purchases EVER! Thank you, Target!!
