Our Generation Tumble & Spin Laundry Set

This is super cute, and we love all the realistic pieces. When we opened ours the knob to spin the dryer on the back was glued in place. We were able to remove the glue and wind it so it will spin. However, if you put in anything heavier than a pair of doll sock, it won't tumble because it is too heavy. It should at least tumble with a few doll clothing items in my opinion. My daughter still likes it but it does not work as well as it should.

When we opened the package, the washing machine would work when tilted backward (frustrating, but ok) - within a week, it stopped working altogether. This is a toy, and my daughter is a pretty gentle 10 year-old -- there's no reason it shouldn't work well enough to last a year or more. Not sure if I can even take it back since we recycled the box, and it turns out that "Our Generation" isn't on the "Target Owned Brand" list. Ugh.

I love OG - everything is so cute, detailed and totally worth the cost. I picked up this set when I happened to find it on a mega clearance in stores for $10. My daughter loved washing her dolls clothes! She loved it so much that I bought one for my niece, who also loves hers. My only complaint is that the crank on the washer broke pretty quickly but it can still spin manually.

this is a cute toy but the thick plastic zip ties were on so tight and my sharp scissors could not break through them and the struggle ended up snapping part of the line dryer off. almost every toy I buy is packaged terribly but this was the worst one yet. also the detergent and dryer sheets are just decorative thin cardboard. they could make small plastic bottles instead so they can be used for more than five minutes. not worth the money or the struggle of getting it out of the box.

The washing machine wasn't working. Got it to run but it would continue to quit.

This item did not spin like advertised! We have one disappointed little girl on Christmas!!!

The washer broke after 1 day, very poor quality

So Fun At First! But It Broke Shortly After. So Very Sad. The Plastic Gears Easily Break. No Way To Fix It. My Children Did Enjoy The Spinning When It Worked.

Got this from the store and tested to spin but broke right away when getting home.

My daughter was so excited to buy this with birthday money she had saved, only to be let down because the washer doesn’t work at all! If we didn’t live an hour away from our closest target, I would be returning this. Such a cute set for little girls who want to be like mom, but you should expect disappointment if you like the aspect of a working toy.

My daughter absolutely love this. We haven’t had it very long so I can’t how long it will last, but it’s very cute.

Very cute and my daughter was excited about the entire set. Unfortunately, the washer broke after using it one time. She was gentle with it. Washer motor is defective.

I was really excited to get this for my daughter. It is so cute and a pretty good value set. I love that the washing machine winds up and doesn't need batteries. Now that i have read reviews, I'm a little concerned it won't last long, but so far it works well. My only complaint is that the ironing board doesn't fold down flat.

I purchased this laundry set for my granddaughter for Christmas. I searched the box to see what size batteries it took to have them on hand so the toy would be operational when she opened the gift. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was wind up!! how ingenious!! LOVE it!!

My daughter was really excited to play with this--she picked it out at Target. As soon as we arrived home, we removed it from the packaging to play. The laundry basket, ironing board, and clothes hanger are all really fun and seem to be made very well. Unfortunately, the washing machine broke after using it for a few minutes--she was gentle with it and we followed instructions. My daughter was extremely disappointed. It spun for a while and will not spin anymore. It's a great concept and I feel little ones will love to play with this--but after reading reviews I noticed many had similar issues to us with the washer not working sadly. My daughter really wanted to keep this but we will have to return it. Hopefully OG will be able to make an updated version that works better in the future so that my daughter can get a new one!

Did right out of the box. Listen to the reviews that say this doesn’t work. I bought this for my niece and it didn’t work right out of the box.

I absolutely love this set. The items are just so stinkin cute. However, I've already replaced the washer/dryer once because it was not working. The replacement has also started having issues, sometimes it works sometimes we have to tap the machine a few times to get it to work. My kids are disappointed with the machine not always working. I wish they would sell just the laundry kit so I can get a separate washer and dryer toy.
