Open up the driver door and slide the seat back and forth to comfortably fit your 18-inch dolls inside and turn on the lights and sounds as your drive through the neighborhood. You can choose between flashing lights and 2 different siren sounds! Light up the GPS screen display to navigate through the streets, then turn on the headlights and press the gas pedal to hear the "vroom" sound. You can also honk the horn in case you run into a little traffic! Once you arrive, use the realistic medical accessories to give your friends a checkup. The pupil gauge and otoscope light up with the push of a button, and the stretcher easily folds open to safely transport your besties to the hospital. Store all the medical accessories in the storage compartments in the back of the ambulance for a neat and tidy cleanup, then hop back into the driver's seat and start another patrol. Q: Hi - is there a manufacturer malfunction causing most of the products to be defected? The reviews are not very encouraging.

A: In my experience, there seems to be. Neither lights nor the siren worked on the first truck that I purchased from in-store. Then, I visited a second store for a replacement and none of the ambulances there worked properly. I finally ordered online and that one works (i.e., lights and siren) but it has other defects. Sadly, I decided to keep it despite the other defects because it is my daughter's no. 1 birthday request and I don't feel like dealing with the possibility of replacing it with an ambulance that has defective lights and/ or siren.

My daughter is in love with this toy and for that alone I’ll leave four stars. She will put a ton of time towards playing with it. From an adult perspective, I agree with some of the other reviewers and also think the company did not “kid” test this very well. I do think it is overpriced now that I’ve been able to really look at it. The stretcher that comes with the ambulance does not fit unless it is folded up (HUGE oversight for the manufacturer) and luckily we have the other stretcher that is adjustable to resolve that. The rear doors are hard/almost impossible to keep open- another huge oversight by the manufacturer. A clear door on the inside does not open properly and popped off as soon as we finished opening everything. The amount of tape used to secure the accessories is ridiculous and impossible to remove. The stores only have one in stock at a time so that means you are purchasing a pretty beat up toy from all the in store play since the item does not come in any kind of box. The lights and siren sounds seem to work right now which is actually a nice addition just hoping it does not eat through batteries. Despite my issues, I would buy this again and also suggest it for kids who love anything medical related. The range of accessories included is decent so you could skip buying other sets.

The stretcher did not fit so the basic function of having a doll lay down inside the ambulance was negated. I had to spend another $30 to buy the stretcher that has a raised head so the doll fits. Another 1” added to length and the doll would have fit. Did Target even have a kid test this? I think they made a new worse model. I saw a brown one at Christmas that had the head folding stretcher included.

The stretcher that came with your Our Generation Ambulance does bend in the middle, allowing for an Our Generation doll to ride in the vehicle, in a sitting position. If you look on target.com, you can see a demonstration! The brown ambulance that you mention in your review is not an Our Generation product. OG only makes 1 style of ambulance (white with pink and orange accents). Accessories are nice, but Ambulance itself is not near worth what was paid. The doors do not fit right. One of the display stickers is stuck to the vehicle and won't come off and looks awful. Overall it's just not at all up to the standards I would expect from this brand. I honestly would love to return this item for something else and so would my 5 year old, but because she loved it so much we tossed packaging. Each time she plays with it I feel like something else breaks.

Overpriced garbage - DO NOT BUY

The ambulance came with a broken door that was held together by tape… I didn’t realize it until I already unpackaged all of it on Christmas morning and my daughter was left crying begging me not to return it. So now I’m stuck with a toy that’s broken and no way to return it. The dolls also do not fit well in the driver’s seat. It was packaged with an excessive amount of tape so half the tools are sticky and the ambulance itself has several taps marks that will no doubt take a lot of time to take off. My other daughter received the Our Generation Jeep/Surfboard and for half the price the product is MUCH better. Will hesitate to buy this brand in the future as we have found it really inconsistent with accessories/toys/clothing. I’ve only had this toy open for 5 minutes so hoping it can only get better from here since I’m so disappointed!

The quality of this is extremely poor, the back doors do not open all the way. The cabinet doors inside do not open all the way and easily come off the hinges. The lights up otoscope does not light up. The stretcher doesn’t fit inside the back of the ambulance so you need to buy the “gurney” separately. The accessories themselves are cute and well made but the actual ambulance is not. I’ve submitted a ticket to battat (maker of this) and will see how customer service is but very unimpressed. Glad I opened before Xmas.

This is big! I’m not sure where we’re going to keep another doll accessory, but my girls love these sets to use with their American Girl dolls. Everything is well made and there are (for better or worse) lots of little pieces to make playing more realistic. After looking at AG accessories the OG sets are a steal. Excited for my daughter to open this on Christmas!

I ordered this online over a month ago and picked it up at the only target in our area that had it and it was the last one. It was in great condition and all of the buttons work. I also purchased the hospital set and the gurney set. These things come with almost accessories that you would find in a real ER. Me and my daughters were playing with it for hours. It’s so much fun!

I did a pick up at the store. It’s supposed to come with batteries. None of the buttons worked. And we couldn’t even get the battery compartment open. So it Has to be returned maybe I’ll order it online. It’s big and clunky and it’s hard to move back-and-forth so it’s such a pain to have to take it back and get even to the battery compartment it’s a pain in the butt it just isn’t made well at all.
