Our Generation 18" Ballerina Doll with Movable Joints & Music Box Stand - Erin

My daughters really liked these dolls they got for Christmas. I just wish there were more jointed dolls besides these two. My daughters both do ballet and wanted these but they have blue eyes and blonde hair and blue eyes and brown hair. It would be nice to have dolls that looked more like them but I'm glad they got these. They like posing them in different ballet positions and the music boxes are a great touch.

My doll was wearing a pink leotard and a blue skirt. It doesn’t look like the dress in the image. It also has a scoop neckline not a v neckline. Dissatisfied with these differences,

She comes with a beautiful braided style hair and sits atop a beautiful opaque pink music box. She is Posable which makes her far more entertaining to any girl who wants to play with dolls. We’ve always loved the affordability and quality of the Our Generation brand and this Erin Deluxe Doll has been their favorite so far !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little miss was so happy to receive this gorgeous little doll. Like most little girls she fancies herself a ballerina. The hair is just what you'd expect for a ballerina and it stays put. The leotard fits perfectly. The tutu so precious. She has pose able limbs so she can dance. The stand and music box are just the iceing on the cake. My daughter is just enamored of this doll. If they came out with a stand that would rotate as well it would be 100 perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Our Generation Erin Ballet Doll was a perfect gift for my daughter finishing her first class of ballet. She turns and plays a beautiful melody. My daughter likes to put her in different positions she has learned in ballet. The extra joints on this doll makes it alot easier to change clothes as well!

The clothes are interchangeable with many other similarly-sized dolls, but we keep her in these clothes since my daughter thinks ballet is amazing. Huge fans!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am definitely captivated by the story behind this doll, it is very sad but at the same time it shows the footprints left by loved ones and the challenge of achieving a goal. The dancer is very well done, all the joints move perfectly from side to side, she can be put in many positions, her eyes close when the doll is horizontal, her hair is very silky, soft and easy to handle, very realistic and it even comes with care instructions which I think is great. Her clothes are very well cooked, her filling is perfect without imperfections or parts that are more bulky than others. The music box is simple made of string but very functional to keep the dancer standing. Something that I think is great is that the box it comes in is recycled and I love it because it helps the environment. My girl loves her, and she has a lot of fun playing with her and she is so pretty that I plan to put her in her adornment room even if my girl grows up and no longer plays with dolls.

Her ballerina outfit is perfect and made well. The doll stand is cute! It has a key on the side that you twist to wind up and it plays a pretty song.

With bendable joints she can do many different dances and poses with her. She has a soft body and comes wearing a beautiful ballet dress and has pretty pink slippers. The music box is also a display stand when play time is over. This doll is any girls dream toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved the doll. the music box it stands on is great. was suprised it could hold the doll as steady as it was. the outfit is nice and soft and her hair was perfect. all in all a great prodcut for a little girl.

Doll feels very bulky and antique/breakable due to the awkward way it bends. It’s beautiful but not practical. Not the same as the new bendable Barbie experience!! The doll falls out of ballet stand, off balance. Would be neat if the stand rotated when music played once wound. Very disappointing. My toddler won’t play with it.

I purchased this doll through target.com I also purchased Shayla at the same time I love the articulation but I think it needs to be redesigned where it's not strong but more like the articulation or the ankles and the wrists are also her ballet slipper should be fabric and have ribbon tie I redid my doll's hair and I also brushed her cheeks and we painted her lips and I added a beautiful bow at the top of her hair with her Cascade of curls.

I purchased 2 Erin and Shayla Ballerina Dolls. I returned all of them. The face is adorable. Precious! However, the head on all 4 dolls were floppy. The legs and arms had cracks. I don't know if it's a design/manufacturing issue or because the plastic ties are way too tight (packaging issue). The legs could not hold poses. I tried to put her in 4th arabesque, and her legs flopped down. When you put her on the music stand, she bends forward or back. Her arms could stay in 1st, 2nd and 3rd position nicely. Her hands are nice. The price point is good.

Beautiful doll and appearance when I took her out of the box some of her seems have cracks and her head is very loose on her body nearly detaching itself there's not enough stuffing to give her head the support that it needs and her joints are quite loose they are strong by stringing excellent design concepts but poorly crafted and the reason why I gave it one star is because the head is wobbly like it's coming off of her body

We find OG, more than the competitors. I supplement as needed, which is rare to be honest, and typically only need when OG is sold out of something or hasn't introduced a line. OG has thoughtful, functional designs that spark ongoing imaginative play which is what we seek. The details are impeccable and the quality has been fantastic (we have more items than I care to admit). We're hoping more items are added to the jointed line and perhaps a pickup truck could be added to the vehicles. It would be great for hauling fruits/veggies, animals, hay, beach toys, furniture on moving day ;) and so on. Of course it would need a functional tailgate but I'm sure OG would be on top of that! If it were cute and red or white and ohhhh right now the pumpkins it could hold even when not playing dolls!

This doll is so cute I can’t even describe it. It is a Christmas present but I have looked at it. I love the joints. My granddaughter is going to love it

it is good to see Our Generation pushing boundaries for the 18 inch doll scene. it started with their odd deluxe dolls being poseable but now this adds to the jointed doll love that is growing in popularity. I give her 4 stars because I am unsure of how much play they can have before they go loose. Depends on the child I guess but she will be fun for photography!
