All I can say is save your receipt or go with Apple. After a bit of time, for me it was 6 months of light use and the right earbud, one of the two earbuds won't receive a charge. Case will charge, left bud will charge just fine, but the right bud stays dark. Google "tune 225 TWS won't charge" and you'll see it's common. JBL doesn't recognize this issue and won't work with you to find a solution. The only way to get a warranty is if you have the receipt. Good luck. Find a better product.

These headphones sound great and they fit awesome. I absolutely prefer this style of headphone. HOWEVER, I have had two pairs of these and both pairs, after about 4 months the rubber on the inside peeled off and makes them extremely uncomfortable to wear.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Tune 225TWS. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton cloth, makeup, or cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please make sure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. If the troubleshooting steps did not work, please contact our customer support.

After 6 months they had trouble connecting via Bluetooth. I’ve used them for 9 months now and the right bud doesn’t work at all and the left bud charges 50% of the time so I can’t use it when I need to. Not worth the money

A little over a year and they barely hold an hour of audio play time. The rubber piece that is for comfort has fallen off.

At the first time I bought this model and right earbud stop working suddenly. I bought it again after several months (big mistake) and the problem appear again in 3 weeks , I contacted JBL and the replaced it , now I am having an issue with connection of the right earbud, I am really wondering what test and reliability engineers do in this company ! if the same problem appear with different batches how you make this model available in the market

I bought my fist pair last October for a Christmas gift. After 5 months the rubber covering was peeling so bad it was cutting my ears. The right earbud began having pairing issues. I received a replacement pair. Now three months later the rubber is again peeling and beginning to cut into my ear. The right earbud is beginning to have charging issues. The audio quality is great and I love the fit. Just needs a better design so that the rubber doesn't peel up.

Worked great until it didn't

I bought these in July 2021 and they worked great until a couple of weeks ago the right earbud stopped pairing with any of my devices. I really liked these earbuds as they did not have the silicone tip that goes into your ear.

Check your phone's Bluetooth list and choose JBL Tune 225TWS. If the earbuds are not visible on your phone's Bluetooth list, tap and hold the L/R touch control for 5 seconds. Litterally the worse headphones ive owned. Worked right for a month or 2 but even at that they werent that loud. Shortly after that on 1 headphone would charge and stays charged for about 20mins before it dies. Theres no debris or anything in case nor are they dirty, just stopped working. A pair of dollar store headphones worked better.

These earbuds are fine... when they work. Bluetooth Connectivity is a nightmare with these things. One earbud will randomly decide to go rogue and it'll no longer want to connect to my phone. Almost like each earbud is a completely independent device. It's frustrating. Love JBL speakers, not a fan of JBL earbuds. Buy something else.

They hurt! I couldn't ever get them to sit and stay. The silicone end is pealing up not allowing the lid to close, in turn not receiving a full charge. I'm lucky to get 2 hours sometimes. Save your money and get something else.

It is a shame to hear that you are experiencing issues with your device not holding charge. The Tune 225 TWS has a maximum play time of 5 hours, with up to 20 hours of battery life in the charging case. Volume levels and the type of music you are listening to will affect the battery life slightly, but if your device performs to a lower standard, you might want to check that the metal charging contacts of your earbuds and charging case are clean. It is not uncommon to have charging problems with True Wireless headphones. This is almost always caused by dirt on the metal charging contacts. Use a cotton swab with some rubbing alcohol to clean the charging terminals of the headphones to re-establish charging levels. For more detailed troubleshooting and regarding the wearing away of one earbud, I would like to go on that a bit more in detail to see in what way this is happening. sound issues and uncomfortable

We're here to help with your JBL Tune 225 TWS. Let's try these troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. Clean the earbuds by removing dust and wax with a cotton swab with alcohol. Try dipping the affected earbud tip into a solution of lukewarm tap water and a small amount of dish soap. The earbud tip should be put into the liquid up to a maximum depth of 1-2 mm. Keep the earbud tip in the water for about 2-3 minutes, then wipe/clean the grille with a small brush, such as a toothbrush. Make sure that the volume is on a level that can be adjusted through your source device. Our products have a one-year limited warranty. If you need more help, please contact our Customer Support.

The overall build quality is good. They are easy and quick to pair. The sound quality however is extremely poor. There is absolutely no bass. Something I was not expecting from a brand like JBL. Those headphones are decent for phone calls, but that's basically it.

They suck, they worked great for about 3 months now I can't get them to charge and if I get them to charge it's only the right side. I also have to sync them every time i try to use them.

We're sorry to hear that the earbuds of your JBL Tune 225TWS isn't charging. It is not uncommon to have charging problems with True Wireless headphones. You may encounter that charging stops, does not start at all or that one of the earbuds suddenly switches on and begins the pairing process. This is almost always caused by dirt on the metal charging contacts. These contacts are vulnerable because they can easily be contaminated by sweat, skin grease, or ear wax. They are usually gold plated, but gold plating does not prevent surface dirt. If you have charging problems, the first step is to always clean all contact points, on each earbud and on the charging case. You will need a cotton cloth or makeup swabs, cotton swabs, and rubbing alcohol. Also a pencil with an eraser for further cleaning. if you need more help, please reach out to our Customer Support.
