I own several soundbars, and this unit is the cleanest-sounding, highest output example I have ever heard. It is compact enough that I travel with it for work, and can set it up in minutes in various hotel rooms with a laptop via blue tooth. Dialog is clean, and sound effects carry substantial punch in the low end. Pair this with any good front-projection setup and a screen on the wall for a seriously portable, giant-scale entertainment system.

This a very good sound bar for the money. Bass is a little much at default (zero) setting for my taste but a lot of power. With my old sound bar I’d have the volume at 30 and now can get same output between 15 and 20. Voice enhancement is great as well. Easy to set up over HDMI eARC with my Sony Bravia TV and no issues with audio delay. So far so good. The option to add rear wireless speakers is also great if looking for eventual full 5.1 experience. There is no WiFi on the bar so did a firmware update via USB thumb drive (wasn’t necessary but I always like to run latest firmware). Got this for less than $200 with sale and discounts. Great deal.

Surpassed expectations. Doesn’t give you crazy surround but it definitely gives you the “feel”. Which is hard to explain until you get it. Plenty loud, bass roars and easily adjustable. It would be nice to get a list of compatible surround sound speakers. Not sure if they are compatible with SW 9500s or not.

In search for an easier and hopefully better sound system, I bought this one. Pluses in this choice. It has multiple connection options. My TV's HDMI is broken and so the USB works perfectly as a second choice. The sound volume did an upgrade and the High of 40 went t o100. Loud if you want it that way! Now I have to turn the volume down rather than up. Samsung allows its buyers to have a control of the bass and the bar within the software (many do not). I am using a Samsung Tv and not sure how the Samsung bar will work with a non Samsung TV. I am very happy with this Sound Bar, which is a 3.0 version with Atoms Dolby software. Atmos Dolby really delivers a better sound experience.

While the USB port does have the ability to play music from a USB thumb stick it won't connect to a TV. The soundbar features the ability to connect using Bluetooth, Digital Optical or an HDMI input to connect to a TV. Lastly, keep in mind this is not a Dolby Atmos soundbar as it does not have any up-firing speakers built in. It does feature Dolby Digital and DTS Virtual:X audio. Use the SOUND MODE button to turn on DTS Virtual:X to give you immersive 3D sound from any content.
