[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is supposed to provide soothing heat as well as pain relief. I did not notice any warming effect after applying it, which is just as well, as I do not need heat with my pain relief. If I want heat, I'll use one of ThermaCares other heat producing products. As the name indicates, the product comes in a convenient roll-on container, like a deodorant, which allows you to apply it easily and evenly without having to get it on your hands. The pain relief doesn't occur immediately, but kicks in gradually and lasts for a few hours. The product was convenient to use, andvand allows you to direct the pain relief only to the area where it is needed, rather than taking a pill which affects your entire body. It would be nice though, if the pain relief lasted for a longer period of time.

Helpful but HOT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roll on version of ThermoCare really helped my achy back & sore muscles. After 39 years with Rheumatoid Arthritis I have significant pain. As much as this did help I did not like the stinging sensation from it. I’m not sure if it’s the alcohol or another ingredient. Because of it making my skin sting I would not purchase this version of ThermoCare Roll On. Thank you for the opportunity to try this product!

Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this everyday and boy does this ease the pain. Easy to apply on my lower back without any help. Last about two hours enough for me to sleep. Love the no stain to my clothes. Feeling is like a on fire and tingling feeling. Has a slight smell but worth the pain reduction.

The products that are 4% lidocaine are ofcourse better because they’re stronger but it’s very temporary relief. The thermacare patches offer lasting relief.

Heat Relief in a Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please be careful with this product. The first time I used it, I underestimated the amount of heat that would be generated. All I can say is Wow! I used it for a week on my lower back before bed, and the heat sensation was felt within 5-10 seconds. It’s the best sleep I’ve had in awhile because my pain was relieved. I highly recommend it if you’re suffering with pain; just be careful!

Worked great on sore shoulders

Good, but not great

I was expecting a similar experience, but with the added bonus of lidocaine. However, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed. The "heat" sensation was significantly less than that of products I have used in the past. I really didn't notice a benefit to the added lidocaine. I used this product in the days following two grueling days of yardwork.

Relief Without a Sticky Mess

The combination of heat and lidocaine makes a noticeable difference compared to other products that just sit on the surface. It’s ok

I couldn’t really feel a lot of heat but the lidocaine worked like a charm. If you’re looking for topical topical level relief it works. It would really be a price point matter if it came down to it.

Lasting pain relief quickly

Easier to apply than from a tube

I have some pain spots that need more than just heat or ice to recover, and this roll-on product can be applied without getting it all over my hands. The heating sensation helps as much as a heating pad, without warming up a huge area of my body.
