I really like these so far. Band is not too tight or too loose, and the fabric is nice and breathable. Note: the underwear I received has ‘HANES’ written repeatedly on the band, which I did not see in any of the display photos when I purchased - see image attached. The leak protection gusset is very slim, it just feels like regular underwear. I wear them as backup protection with my menstrual cup, so I can’t really comment on how well it absorbs fluid. I’m between a medium and large in underwear and the mediums were perfect.

They work

My thoughts on the intended purpose of the underware was strange and difficult to get used to but i did over time and it wasnt that bad! Give them a go i say.

I thought that the crotch would feel like I was wearing a panty liner but it did NOT! They are very flexible and comfortable. The material is breathable. Although I cannot attest to the absorbency, as I no longer have a period, but the material does seem like it would be absorbent. Overall very comfortable.

They are extremely comfortable and surprisingly breathable. They don't look weird under clothes and aren't bulky. The material is also nice and seems to handle moisture well.

Not just for periods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these new Hanes Comfort Period underwear. They claim to be light absorbency, able to absorb sweat, periods and leaks, all while being discreet and comfortable. They do have some stretch to them which helps them be comfortable, however straight out of the package I noticed a faint odor on them like the smell of faux leather mixed with charcoal. Anyone who has worn faux leather knows that it’s not a material you want to work out or be active in because it stinks. I didn’t think much of it at first and washed and dried them before wearing them while doing light housecleaning and I couldn’t keep them on even 20 minutes because that same smell faux leather mixed with charcoal.
