A: Hi Caliboi! The 16 Qt. Heavy Duty Latching Storage Box is made only using high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic, Polypropylene plastic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

A: Hi bride to be! The 16 Qt. Heavy Duty Latching Storage Box Our is made of Polypropylene plastic, and are designed for general household storage. Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers use good judgment and not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage.

These are probably great but ordered some and they came with no lids but were supposed to. Called customer service and they sent replacements that also arrived with no lids. Called customers service about it and all they could do was refund my money. So the bases are sturded and would probably work great if they had lids. Being nice, I gave it 3 stars for the quality and value of the bases part. I am sure it would get 5 if the lids had come with it. It is supposed have the lid included. But would give it minus 20 for the lid debacle. But it all good, please have a good day.

Love the size and how heavy duty it is. I give these to my kids to store special items/keepsakes. It's a little tough for them to open and close but that's not such a big deal bc they're not putting things in there too often.
