Roger Bridgman studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. After working as a graphic designer and studying electronics, he became a design engineer at Marconi. Roger was Curator of Communications at the Science Museum, London, for 11 years, during which time he gained a master's in History of Technology at Imperial College, London.
