We have had this door mat through 4 seasons. It cleans so well that it still looks like new. It’s got more of a plastic feel so I don’t like that as much but it doesn’t look plastic. The fact that it has lasted and still looks new is why I have given it a 5 star

This item looks nice. I bought it for its looks and from far away you can’t tell the ‘rope’ is made of plastic (note, not plastic coated—it IS plastic). But it’s slippery when wet with rain/snow, which is, of course, its function. So it doesn’t work very well as a place to scrape your boots. I’d pass on it unless it’s purely decorative/in a covered porch.
