I love these and picked up a second box after the first set worked so well. They don't remove all of the static, but fabric softener sheets often didn't for me either. Clothes still come out soft and dry. I've noticed these aren't as effective with heavier things like towels, but still do okay. I mostly have cotton or cotton-poly clothes; I'm not sure how these would work with other fabrics.

Love these dryer balls. We have had them over a year and they hold up well. We dont ever have static on our clothing and they do speed up dry time. Plus that they are so much better for us than toxic dryer sheets! They work great and are a awesome price!

These do not reduce static AT ALL. My clothes were super staticky and it left lint and others residue behind on dark clothing. These didn’t really make my clothes any softer either so these were very disappointing.

Wanted to make the switch after hearing how bad dryer sheets are for clothes and our skin. First load my clothes came out great, second load was thick towels so it did take the usual amount of time, also depends on dryer low/high temperature. The noise is not loud it helps to put the ball in the sleeve of pants or shirt. No static or weird smells, i want to try the essential oils next

I've been wanting to switch to wool dryer balls for awile ... Finally, bought these and was excited to use them due to the price point and overall review score. Sadly, very disappointed! While I didn't think these were loud (as suggested by some other reviewers), they were a source of added static. I tried them with two different loads and types of fabrics - same result = lots of static! I've never used wool dryer balls before so I'm not sure if this is "normal" (and a "side effect" of being more sustainable/clean) but I'm returning these & returning to dryer sheets for now! Do NOT buy if you want to enjoy static free laundry!

Get them pretty wet and they work so well. A drop or two of essential oils adds a nice, natural fragrance to your clothes. They leave some lint on my black pants but it’s not something that bothers me too much. As long as you use them as intended, they work great. I’ve had them for a little over two years and they have held up so well, they still look and work like they’re brand new.

I wasn’t sure if I believed the hype but we needed something because our baby was sensitive skin. The doctor recommended not using the fragrance free sheets because they still have a lot of chemicals that can irritate the skin. I was surprised that these dryer balls actually help reduce static. I do t know how it works but I was amazed. I’m not sure if they cut down on dryer time- maybe a tiny bit? The only downside is they are a little loud. It’s pretty much tennis balls but without the rubber. I’m not sure how long these are supposed to last. They started to pull after a few washes but I think that’s normal.
