Q: What is the color temperature of the bulbs?

A: I think it's about 2200K to 2700K. The bulbs are Kai Lin Lighting Co and labeled "S14-1W1S" and "4010395". Some googling suggests a color temp in that range although I couldn't find anything definitive. I was trying to find some other lights that match since these are out of stock now.

We liked the set we bought last year so much that we bought three more sets to hang in our yard. They are not the same as last year. They are SO bright… that bright LED light I try to avoid, but figured these would be fine since the set from last year was a warmer glow. How disappointing.
Screw the Bulbs Tighter Than You Have Ever Screwed a Bulb In.

Fortunately I read the reviews before taking this down and returning it. I tested the string with the bulb that was in the string. Then I screwed the rest of the bulbs in and hung the lights. More than half didn't light. The bulbs were in tight, but not tight enough for this poorly designed item. Screw the bulbs in so tight you think they might break, carefully of course. Highly suggest you do this before hanging them.

These are listed as “warm white” — couldn’t be further from the truth. These are a super cool daylight white LED. Don’t make the mistake I made which was to put them all together, hang them and throw away the boxes before ever plugging them in. So bummed.

I bought one set and multiple bulbs did not light. some kept turning in the socket so would not be secured in. returned those and bought a second set. same thing! ugh so annoying! will buy from another store these are poorly designed, don't waste your time or money.

These lights are nice. I expected them to be close in size to Christmas lights, but they are actually bigger. The wire connecting the 10 lights is 12ft long and surprisingly thick and sturdy. The bulbs are on the larger size as well they are a little smaller than a average sized indoor lamp light bulb. This may work for you depending on the look you are going for. The packaging is great. The box is nice & sturdy and 9 of the 10 light bulbs provided come in their own sturdy box to keep them safe. This is a smith and Hawken brand set of 10 LED string lights. These are outdoor lights that have a total length of 14 feet and plug from end to end. These will give off a white warm light glow with the LED bulbs. This would be perfect for your patio on a nice summer night while hanging out with your friends or family. These are a large set for the length. The material seemed sturdy. It was annoying it came in pieces, never seen that before and I have bought several different types. The brightness was what I expected, nothing significant. The price seems a little high but not outrageous. I am so disappointed in this purchase. I have been looking for the perfect string lights for my sunroom to add extra warm light to the space and was so excited when I stumbled across this product. Upon opening the box I was a little bummed by how short the lights were. It definitely doesn’t seem like 14ft long but I was determined to make it work! When I plugged in the lights I was saddened to see only one lightbulb worked!! I will be returning. I don’t feel to confident in this product to purchase another one due to the fact that the bulbs do not seem like good quality. I received an incentive to write this review. We are happy with these outdoor patio lights! They seem to be of good quality and we like the little holes above each bulb. My husband installed hooks into our wood ceiling and all we had to do was slide each hole onto the hook. They look great and give us the perfect ambiance in the evenings! We also like that they are LED bulbs so hopefully they will last longer.

The bulbs took some finagling, not all instantly lit up. They needed some caressing to get it in there just right for the bulb to light ;) but for the price, I think these are great!
