11" Melamine Dinner Plate Sour Cream - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these plates. The color goes with everything, they’re shatter resistant, and sturdy. I’m replacing some other melamine plates with these. They went through the dishwasher well, but you’re not supposed to microwave them. These will be a great addition to my kid friendly dinnerware lineup! Good value for the quality.

The plate has about an inch of raised border around the edge. I like this for keeping food on the plate and no spills. It is dishwasher safe which I love for easy cleanup. It is not recommended for microwave though.

Just like the light blue version, the quality on this is incredible. It features a gorgeous light beige cream color with subtle speckles that gives it a beautiful, rustic stoneware or ceramic look. If it was sitting on a table, you would never guess it wasn't real pottery. It offers the perfect way to get that high-end, elegant aesthetic for your table setting without any of the worry. Because it’s made of durable, break-resistant melamine, it is fantastic for outdoor dining, backyard barbecues, or hosting guests right by the pool. When it comes to cleanup, it’s conveniently dishwasher safe (just keep in mind it’s not microwave safe, which is typical for quality melamine). It’s a stunning, practical neutral piece that goes with everything—highly recommend!

It is cream colored with a light brown base and is dishwasher safe but should not be microwaved. Please note that while though the plate measures 11 inches in diameter, the actual section for food measures 8 inches and there is a 3-inch raised border, which prevents spills, but it still holds a lot of food.
