A: Thank You for your question. Yes, the scale includes a tare function for the accurate weighing of dry ingredients. Just place the scale on a level, flat countertop, adjust the pointer to 0 by turning the knob, and place ingredients in the middle of the stainless-steel bowl to weigh your ingredients. This looks so cute on my counter! I was a little worried it wouldn’t actually weigh up to 11 pounds but it does. My only complaint is the stainless steel bowl that comes with it seems a little small. Overall it works great. I used it to portion out hamburger meat and it worked perfectly.

This is so cute and not too large for my limited counter space. I will say the instructions were not clear enough for me about how to zero out the scale. I had to loosen the screw almost all the way to zero it out. That could have just been a problem for me. Overall cute product for a good price. The scale is accurate.

This is such a cute scale! Goes perfect in my farmhouse kitchen. It is small enough to fit on the counter as a display piece and does not take up a ton of space. It is also functional which is super cool!! We love using it for little fun weight guessing challenges!

I absolutely love the look of this kitchen scale. It looks classic but it goes well with my kitchen decor. It is extremely easy to set up when first taken out of the box. I love how the top stainless steel dish is removable so you can wash it if you need to. It exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to get more use out of it.

Not to big or heavy so it would be easy to store if I needed to store it. It’s functional decoration because not only does it look cute but I’ve also weighed things with it and got great results. I would recommend!

LOVE this little kitchen scale! It is more of an ivory color than white which is pictured. Even though it’s a “kitchen scale” I put it as decor in my laundry room and it looks great! The fact that it actually works as a scale is a bonus.

this scale measures in pounds and kilograms which is far to large a range for the bowl they give you. When baking, most recipes require 1-200 grams of your ingredient which is close to impossible to get accurate on this scale. And if you were to use this to try to measure a larger quantity, such as 2-3 pounds of flour (though I'm not sure why you would) it wouldn't even fit in the bowl. Not sure what this is useful for at all...

I absolutely love this scale. It’s beautiful & was very easy to set up. Also very easy to 0 the scale once set up. Right now, it’s a decor piece filled with fake apples but with having a Type 1 Diabetic in the house, it will be put to use weighing foods!

This kitchen scale is beautiful, but I’m disappointed that it measures in pounds in kilograms which would not be helpful when it comes to baking. Probably a great kitchen scale for larger items and other uses.
