While smells good, it produces excessive smoke. See photo. I was wearing a mask while cleaning and the candle was lit. The mask shows how much residue was filtered on it from the candle smoking.

It's a nice enough candle—it smells good and has an aesthetic container. When burnt, however, it releases a lot of smoke; I found that my computer fan exhaust had soot around it after leaving the candle burning several feet away for a time. The wicks also occasionally pop upon lighting, scattering particles around.

Smells delicious in the jar, but absolute ZERO THROW. It’s been melting on my warmer for 5 hours, I even left the house for an hour and came back… can’t smell a thing. How disappointing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this in my bedroom and I could smell this throughout my one bedroom apartment. I have tried many different candles from many well known brands and I have never experienced this good of a throw. Highly recommend this candle, Brown sugar chestnut. I plan on trying other scents from this collection and I think I might have found my new candle place.

This candle almost BURNT MY HOUSE DOWN. The coating on the vase and sticker of the candle caught on fire. I burn candles daily and have never seen this happen before. I am so furious that target would make such a hazardous item. Do not buy this. I am devastated at what I just saw and how dangerous this was.

I’m very picky about candles and I was highly impressed! The scent is subtle yet still very noticeable. Neither masculine nor feminine, just a perfect fall scent. Took off one star because the jar became extremely hot at the last 1/5, I couldn’t even touch it and my table was really hot. This is very concerning! If I repurchase I will only use in a candle holder.

I was so happy when I saw these in stock! I bought two of these candles & trimmed the wicks only for them to not have a scent throw. I can only smell it if I’m standing directly over it. I guess I got a bad batch? But it smells great.

This candle is the best smelling candle I have ever owned. Even my picky teenager asks me what that amazing smell is when I have it burning. I can’t even explain how good it is. This is a great year-round scent; I buy enough to always have them on hand. Two things-- It seems like the label no longer comes off cleanly on the ones purchased more recently, and the Threshold version is NOT the same.
