A:Â Hi John...the strip does not have a waterproof rating, but would be safe to use under a table/cabinet where a bathroom sink is located. You just need to be wary of the power adapter location, as you do not want water to hit it.

I really love the way this backlights my TV, but I had to buy two -- be careful when you remove the adhesive backing. On the first one I bought I ripped the paper and the adhesive, which caused the lighting strip to rip in half. If you start peeling and it feels tough to remove, STOP. The backing should peel off easily, be sure to separate it properly from the adhesive (I had to pick at it a bit to get it to separate). Other than that, it looks amazing once in use!
