Q: How heavy is this unit? and does it come with the firepit glass?
A: Hi Debbie, This Terrazzo Propane Tabletop Fireplace complete with lava rocks weighs 16.22 pounds. It comes with the fireplace itself as well as lava rocks, no glass or propane cylinder are included. I hope this helps!

Q: Does it come with a hose for the propane tank?

Q: How long does the cylinder last when lit?
A: TeriB, Your 10,000 BTU producing Tablefire will last 2 hours on high, and 3.4 hours on the lowest setting. This is designed to work with a 1 lb. propane tank, (not provided) and cannot be adapted for a larger size tank. The 1 lb propane tank is suspended with a metal bracket, that connects directly through the umbrella hole in your patio table. Q: What size opening in the center is needed? What is the diameter of the part that drops down the center to the canister, 1”? Is it round? Lastly, how much does it weigh? I have two possible tables I can use.
A: Red2too, The Tabletop Fireplace is designed for the average umbrella hole in a patio table. Those usually measure 2" minimum to 2-1/2" diameter. There is a fixed metal connector attached to the base of the tablefire in the center of the unit, and it must fit straight through. The tablefire will completely cover the hole when in position. It is 5.94 lbs. And it is safe to use on tables of glass, wood, wicker, metal, sturdy PVC, as the tablefire does not emit any heat from it's base or sides. Q: Can this be used on a wood table with an umbrella hole?
A: sadevita, Yes, it is ideal for any table with an umbrella hole. Wood, glass, and wicker, are all safe. As long as it has an umbrella hole, it can be attached to its propane tank through the hole. No heat is generated from the base of the product, and therefore many surfaces are safe. Just remember to keep the lava rock dry, and do not leave it out in the rain (or snow!). If the super porous lava rock is wet when the propane burner is turned on, the heat turns any moisture inside the lava rock's little holes into instant steam, and can propel them from the fire bowl.
