1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born — with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
I ordered a couple of these and really like the style and size. Shipping didn't go well as one arrived with a large dent in the metal band on top. Since it had a jagged edge, I needed to replace it. The other has a scuff on the same section but it wasn't noticeable if I turned the lantern around so I kept it. I would have given it 5 stars but it is kind of a pain to lift it up to turn it on and off at the base underneath. There is a timer option on it, but it only had one time option which was way too long for us to leave them both running on batteries when we aren't using them!
