A: The jar would keep liquids in under most any circumstance. You can put water in it, close the lid, flip it upside down--and the lid won't come off, nor will water come pouring out. However, if you shake it while upside down, some water will dribble out (there's a small hole in the rubber seal to allow air to exit when you push the lid in). The lid also does not "lock" so it could conceivably be jostled out depending on how/where it was packed during transport. It is fairly tight, however, so unlikely to slip off easily.
A: Hello Asher - Thanks for reaching out about the jars. The lid does seal tightly. You will be able to use it for liquids. - Adrian
A: Hi M - That's a great question! Anything from tea bags and candy to cereal and flour and more can be stored in this jar. The dimensions overall of this is 2.88 Inches (H) x 3.75 Inches (W) x 3.75 Inches (D). Dried cranberries would be a great way to utilize this stackable jar! Hope this helps! - Patricia
A: I would say the 15oz is definitely too large for spices. A standard spice jar is around 3 ounces or less. I use the 15oz for dried cranberries, chia seeds, flax seed, peanuts, almonds.
A: I tried it. The 15 oz is just a tad too short for qtips.
A: Hi Customer - We appreicate your interest in this glass jar. Depending on the size of the cotton swabs you use, you may be able to store them in here. Thanks for reaching out! - Chris
A: Hi Tashired - This jar is a great choice for storage but it is not safe for hot liquids nor candles. Thanks for reaching out! - LeAnn
