Rounded off with a solid gray trim for polished appeal, this versatile drying mat keeps your counter free of excess moisture and water stains.
We've been using ours for 6 months or so and handwash nearly all of our dishes.
It works well and we haven't had any issues. Be aware that it does take the mat a while to air out and dry after each use.
I like this item a lot. When hand washing skillets, pots and cookie sheets I want a padded, absorbent place to air dry them. I’ve used a pad similar to this for years and didn’t feel that a trip through the washing machine would work well regardless of what the label said. I had it for years and did not wash it. Don’t judge. From my perspective I rest clean pans on it on a clean counter top. I put it away when not in use. Washing something with foam inside it never works out well for me. For 3.99 I bought this one and tossed the old. This one is just as good. I like the waffle texture, the absorbency, the padding and that it remembers it’s folds so it is easy to put away. Pans hold it flat when in use. I do not plan on washing this one either. I’ll replace it if it ever gets dirty.
I bought two of these drying mats and washed before use. They curled up after washing and are now useless. They only rest flat when something very heavy is set on them. For something that needs routine washing, they did not meet expectations. I can't even return them because they're unpackaged. Total waste of $8.
